We stayed five nights. It is very convenient to the metro, to universities, and to good restaurants. There is a great gourmet coffee machine free to use in the lobby. Rooms and linens were spotless. Windows look out on courtyards, not on the street, which made for a very quiet night with no traffic noise. I will use this hotel... more

We did a two week east coast trip in June and booked the Days Inn for a one night stay on our road trip. The hotel had a soft refurbishment and the Executive room we booked was very large and comfortable. The bed was really good and the room had a large flat screen TV and all the other amenities... more

Stayed here from June 21 thru June 26. Great value for the hotel. It is a basic hotel but considering the little amount that we were in the room, it was perfect. Hotel was very clean. The staff was definitely attentive. There are 3 computers to use in the lobby with a good internet connection. Positives Price 5 minute walk... more

Stayed 4 nights at this location. Our double room was somewhat small but contained 2 comfortable beds, ample closet space (including iron, ironing board and coffeemaker) and a desk. Street noise was reduced because we had a room facing a rear courtyard. However, if adjacent rooms have noisy occupants you will hear them. Housekeeping services were satisfactory and when we... more

Clean, if small and spartan rooms, 2 minutes walk to the Metro, then 10-15 minutes to the heart of the city and all the museums, monuments and government buildings. The neighborhood seemed safe to us. The only issue was that, in a 4-day stay, we couldn't find a decent place for breakfast nearby. We are a somewhat difficult group of... more

Myself and 3 friends stayed here for 3 nights. The hotel was quiet, efficiently organised and staff were helpful, if lacking in personality. Room was a little small after other USA hotels but very clean and decor quite nice. We were able to arrange a city tour which collected us from the hotel. Lots of restaurants nearby and great self... more

Friends had stayed there before and they said it was the best value for the area. The place is ok for a sleepover, but would not recommend it for any lengthy stay. Stuff broken in the room, dark narrow halls, small elevators. If I were a woman, I probably would not feel safe. The web site said there was a... more

There's other places in DC that can cost less but don't have the neighborhood around this Hotel. Close to the Metro, Food, CLeaners. It's near quite a few Embassies and there are quite a few international travelers as well. I'd also avoid this place during spring break if you want a more quiet setting. The recently went through a remodel... more

The night clerk, Ibrahim, was pleasant and helpful. This hotel is only for those who don't need the finer things in life! The room was small, no view. My older nephew was disappointed with the view across the way to other rooms; and my younger nephew couldn't figure out how an apple got out there when there was not even... more

This is your average Days Inn. There aren't any fancy-shmancy details (though it was renovated in 2006 so it is modern and clean). The main thing that makes this hotel great is that it is reasonably priced and 3 short blocks to a Metro stop that can take you to all of D.C.'s attractions. For a traveler that is price... more
