The hotel is clean and have an excellent location you can easily walk to the important places in the city. The room are small and definitely they don't know a lot of service. But you're no paying for an grand tourism or five star resort. I mean the price tells everything. You can try if you prefer spend in sometime... More

"European style" means tiny room. Just big enough for a queen sized, somewhat hard mattressed bed and a little desk. Tiny bathroom. Our stay was quiet. We opted out of the $5 breakfast, preferring to go to one of the many Starbucks close by. The location is great - straight down the street from the White House. We walked to... More

We stayed here for one night on Friday. The hotel is located in a good residential neighborhood- 16th street and R. Less than 10 minutes walking to DuPont Circle. While the location is pretty good, the room is very dated- full size bed with two old chairs, sporadic wifi although advertised to have free wifi. Very loud traffic noise all... More

We were supposed to stay at the District Hotel but since there was a renovation going on in that hotel, the receptionist transferred us to their partner hotel which is the Embassy Inn. They arranged the transfers of course and gave us free breakfast for the inconvenience. Service is good, staff and receptionists are courteous. Internet connection was on and... More

I really wanted to like this hotel - seemed like a perfect find in a great neighborhood at a great price. But I'll list the pros and cons and you can decide if the savings are worth it (I stayed for 5 nights): Pros: -Location: It has a GREAT location in a nice neighborhood that is both close to the... I stayed a few nights in the Embassy Inn on 16th St., NW. It is about 20 walk from the White House, so it's very well located. First off, it is not a hotel, but an inn, so if you expect the level of service and the facilities of a hotel, you'll be disappointed. But I was on a tight... More

My trip to D.C. January 31st was one for fun with my family as we attended the Auto Show at the Walter E. Convention Center. First parking is first come, first server with the rest of the Residences of the surrounding area. Please allow time to cirlce up and down one way streets until you are lucky to find a... More

I stayed at this hotel during a girlfriend weekend away. The hotel is located near many of the downtown attractions. Positives: near the Marta line, near restaurants and not to far off the beaten path, and updated bathroom. Negatives: No parking, very hard to find, the rooms are very small and the front desk staff are not hospitable. The only... More

My husband and I stay here several time a year. This is not a fancy hotel and most rooms are very small. It is comfortable, always clean, the bathrooms are updated, the staff is always friendly, its close to restaurants and it is in a nice area of DC (Dupont Circle). You may encounter a missing handle on your wardrobe,... More
