My husband and I stay here several time a year. This is not a fancy hotel and most rooms are very small. It is comfortable, always clean, the bathrooms are updated, the staff is always friendly, its close to restaurants and it is in a nice area of DC (Dupont Circle). You may encounter a missing handle on your wardrobe,... More

I stopped here for two nights. On booking.com it said there was parking there is only the streets beside the hotel to park in. As soon as I walked in the hotel we were greeted by a moody arrogant man that was very unhelpful. The hot water only lasts for about 90seconeds so showers are short and sweet. The walls... More

Can't understand all of the bad reviews at all. This is a clean, respectable hotel. We had 2 queen beds in a large room with a spotless bathroom. $180 a night included breakfast. Check in with Delores was efficent and she was so helpful with suggestions on where to eat and directions to the sights. Plenty of food options on... More

I had to take 15 minutes and write a review of this hotel a few minutes after checking in. I booked this hotel via Expedia and had a choice between this hotel and a Kimpton “boutique” hotel, but was curious about the Embassy Inn as I had never stayed there. I should have gone with the Kimpton hotel (I’ve stayed... More

This hotel had great location for DC, but the rooms were small, they screwed up my reservation. I reserved a Queen room, when I got there, they gave me a Double Bed in a room the size of a walk in closet. The moved me to 2 double beds for my wife and I, for the 1st night and told... More

The location of the hotel is fantastic and the staff are very friendly. However, the hotel isn't well maintained. I have out lights in the room, the towel rack is not secure to the wall. Most importantly, the bed is horribly hard and you can hear the springs anytime you move. I was put in a shoebox of a room.... More

To start off, this is really an upscale hostel, not a hotel per say. We stayed in a small twin room with an ensuite which was decent sized. Room was clean, toileteries were decent , carpets were old but clean. We didn't have the breakfast since we were very close to many restaurants, but at 5$ it's a steal. Does... More

I booked this hotel for a return trip to DC with my significant other. I was informed on the booking confirmation that it had private parking nearby. When we arrived about 5pm, we parked in a nearby street in a two hour parking space. We unloaded our luggage and booked in. The receptionist advised up that we could park outside... More

The only good thing is the position, close to the city centre. The breakfast is poor and in a non comfortable place. Most rooms are underground. Prices are not that cheap. The furniture in the room was not that new, rather spoiled. The wifi was not working very well.
