Super Clean Rooms! I stayed here for a long weekend to experience DC again and was impressed by not only how clean the room was when I checked in, but everyday the staff brought the room back to the super clean state. As a little directionally challenged, I asked the staff a lot of questions on getting around and found... more

Was sorely disappointed. This truly is nothing like the Website. Double bed, sink in the bedroom, shower like one in a dorm...carpet very old (covering a lump in the floor that I kept tripping over). First night I had no AC so got about 3 hours sleep. Staff did take care of the problem promptly the next day when I... more

Do not think that you will stay in the hotel represented in its website. The building and rooms need urgent renovation. The rooms are moderately clean but they are so old (the walls need painting and repair, the carpets and furniture must be changed,) that you feel you're staying in a dirty room. The internet does not work in some... more

Our stay at the Embassy Inn was most enjoyable. We would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a clean, reasonably priced place to stay. The location is excellent for tourists and business people alike. We found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. There is a wide variety of restaurants within walking distance. We found the included continental... more

This charming hotel is just minutes from Metro and is on a bus line. You can easily walk to many DC attractions. The neighborhood is safe and there are many great restaurants and stores for shopping. A good breakfast is provided with the price of the room. The staff was very friendly and available 24 hours a day. The rooms... more

I stayed here for one night for a business trip. I arrived late (9 p.m.) and was given the last available room in the inn, room 103. It is (I hope, for the sake of the hotel) also the worst room: in the basement, with a single bed (!!), and a bathroom so small that the sink is in the... more

It’s perfectly located, 5 minute walk from the nearest Metro station at Dupont Circle, 20 minute walk from the White House and all the nice museums. If you don’t like the air-conditioning blowing directly in your face, tuff luck because the air conditioning will loudly blow in your room every 10 or 15 minutes, and you can’t do anything it... more

Front desk was helpful, great location. Super breakfast. Little minus: there is no elevator (be prepared for a little workout if your room is on the last floor and you have big pieces of luggage) and the air conditioning was not very silent. Besides that, I recommend the embassy inn, the atmosphere is friendly. more

Good location if you want to be out of immediate downtown. Semi-residential street, close to some trendy restaurants and bars on 17St and P Avenue. 10 minute leisurely walk to Dupont Circel subway stop. Nice looking from the outside, tables to sit outside, decent continental breakfast, seats maybe 10, good to meet other travellers that way. The room was crap... more

Stayed here for two nights and used it as a base for touring. You can't beat the price, and I like quaint hotels. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The room was large enough for my needs, but not really large enough for the bed they put in it. I had stayed at the Windsor Hotel several years ago... more
