The hotel is very comfortable and withing walking distance of Union Station. The rooms are a nice size and bed is very comfy. The towels were plentiful, extra big and fluffy. The staff was friendly and helpful. Nice hotel for a business traveler.

Loved the location. Loved the thick towels and shower head. Loved the comfort of the bed. Now for the not-so-great. First room wreaked of smoke. I guess you can't assume this is a non-smoking hotel as in retrospect, the reservation website doesn't specify. We were given a different room that didn't small of smoke. However, the wall or the A/C... More

We appreciate you sharing your comments from your visit. I am sorry of the problem in the room. We are a no smoking hotel and do check this carefully in each room. While I can't confirm what the odor you experienced might have been, I am glad our team got you set up in another room so quickly. We are... More

Loved the look and feel of the hotel. Close to key sites--the Capital, the mall, Library of Congress, Metro, Reagan Airport . Staff was friendly. Only downside--lousy WiFi connection that was unreliable.

This hotel, apparently around 1920s vintage, is centrally located, a couple of blocks from Union Station. A view of the top of the Capitol building greets guests when exiting the hotel. My roommate and I stayed in a corner room in this hotel while attending an Institute at the National Archives. The room was very nice; clean and well-appointed.The beds... More

Thank you for staying with us and we apologize for our Internet network issues that we have been experiencing. We have a large 50M capacity for our hotel so that is not the problem - there is some sort of rolling connection issue in our system that our tech company is trying to resolve and we have no way of... I liked the place for a bussines one night or two at DC. Good service, clean and convenient. Close to Reagan Airport and with surrunding food places including a pub. Try it for a central located and nice place to stay.

My stay at Park Phoenix hotel was one to be remembered everything was great. The service was fantastic. I had the bi- level suite as soon as me and my fiancé walked in the room I was amazed by the room. We will make this room one to remember as we grow old together to make visits back to this... More

This is a very charming hotel with excellent beds and no noise. Accompanying restaurant (Dubliner) has excellent food. Prices are relatively high but expected in Washington, D.C. Location is excellent for transportation and Capitol Hill venues. Metro is within the block at Union Station. The WIFI in this hotel is terrible. It is accessible sometimes and not others. The sign-on... More

We thank you for your visit and glad you enjoyed your stay. Regarding your comment on our Internet service, the hotel offers a 50M circuit which has been ample for our guests in the past and is quite large for a hotel of our size. I am sorry that over the past week Washington DC hosted the international Microsoft Users... More

When booking our vacation to DC we wanted a location convenient to Union Station. Well the Phoenix Park Hotel fit that bill. It literally is across the street from the hotel, about a three minutes walk. The hotel itself was very nice. Polite front desk staff greeted us upon arrival and it was only a short wait for our room,... More

I recently stayed at the Phoenix Park Hotel and it was divine! The rooms were absolutely gorgeous!!! I stayed at another hotel in DC shortly prior and it was a complete atrocity, it boasted many things but was nothing but a hole in the wall. My husband was so outdone with the last experience he was not looking forward to... More

I travel to DC about 10 times a year for work. A colleague in DC recommended this hotel as a "hidden gem". It is well located (a block from Union Station, two blocks from the Capitol) and has become my home away from home. This weekend I arrived on Saturday after a week of work travel. I looked forward to... More
