This is my first time to stay at the Phoenix Park. I usually stay at The George when traveling to DC and attending meetings near the Capitol. This is exactly what an old style boutique hotel should be: the rooms have character, the staff are attentive, and it just feels elegant. I stayed in a corner room, so it was... More

We pulled up to this hotel, which is very closed to the Capitol and to Union Station, in the rain, and there was a large portico to keep us dry. The older valet was welcoming, funny and a hard worker. The registration staff were also very welcoming and helpful with some faxes we had to send the minute we go... More

Prior to coming, I was made fully aware of the area and things to do by Front Desk Clerk, Patrick Wilson. He was extremely informative as well as helpful. Upon arrival I asked for him but was told (within that same week) he no longer worked there. I was shocked! Even more so when I realized the information he gave... More

We stayed at the Phoenix Park in the past and because of that experience, came back. We were in town for the Cherry Blossom race. Our room was quite nice (had a corner room overlooking Union Station) with great views. The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom was spacious. We had brunch on Sunday and they were quick to... We stayed in this hotel for two nights, just 2 minutes away from Union Station. We got a free upgrade to a beautiful suite which we all loved. tea/coffee facilities in the room, a lounge and 2 bathrooms with bath and shower a double bed and a sofa bed. Staff was helpful and very friendly. We ordered room service twice... More

We enjoyed a girls weekend during cherry blossom festival. The hotel has a nice "small place" feel in a large city. It feels both historic in decoration while modern in amenities like wifi and robes. The service was top notch and value great. The room and bathroom were large and the beds very comfortable. It was close to union station... More

This hotel is in an old building with lots of charm. The lobby is small but very pretty and the elevators are small but very fast. Our room was large enough with a very comfortable bed and nice pillows. Room service is excellent and so is the front desk. There is a restaurant in the hotel but it's a little... More

We decided to book a room at this hotel because it was cheaper than most but still centrally located. The room was well appointed and clean. The bed was -extremely- comfortable. The shower had excellent water pressure with a wonderfully large showerhead. For staying here on a very busy weekend (Cherry Blossom Festival), we were pleasantly surprised at how quiet... More

This Historic hotel offers a beautifully unique stay while in Washington DC. The hotel has an old world feel enhanced with amazing décor - the wood work, chandeliers, flooring. The hotel opened in 1922, therefore if you're looking to experience a historic hotel, this is worth the visit. The hotel also offers amenities such as complimentary wi-fi, fitness room, and... More

The short distance from Union Station was perfect as well as located in the heart of all the Washington sights. The staff was very friendly and accomodating. The room was comfortable, clean and inviting. Loved the history of the hotel. There was also a restaurant attached with good food and good value.
