Stayed over Christmas & New Year. Fantastic value. Good big rooms, many with balconies and big windows that open. Proper kitchens with oven and hob. Wholefoods and Trader Joe both close by. Staff quickly swapped horrible hard small pillows for decent feather ones. Free internet. Great location for buses and Metro. Hotel and rooms fairly basic but outstanding for the... More

We made a reservation for a room with a queen bed and a full kitchen. Our room had no kitchen. The room was a good size, staff was friendly, and the restaurant was nice. However, the bed was uncomfortable and the mattress cover was in shreds. The TV remote control did not work properly and we couldn't get all the... More

Hello SPKinVA Please accept my most sincere apology for the inconvenience that we have caused you during your stay. I understand that we failed and did not give you a room with a queen bed with a full kitchen. You also stated that the bed was uncomfortable and the mattress cover was in shreds. I want to take the opportunity... More

This hotel is a gem, with a fabulous staff. My wife and I picked the hotel because of its proximity to GWU Medical Center, where our son was having surgery. The staff was responsive to our every request, including providing an extension cord so our son could power his computer following his successful operation. Our room was large, and the... More

This hotel is among the best I've stayed at in Washington. The location is exceptional: walking distance to both the White House and Dupont Circle areas, and it's close to a number of good restaurants, particularly those near George Washington U. The room was clean, well-appointed, and very large: it's unusual to have a microwave and refrigerator in a room... More

I have stayed in numerous hotels for business and pleasure, but this hotel stands out as an example to others. The room consisted of a generously spaced lounge, bedroom, bathroom and kitchenette. It was up to date and well maintained. In terms of service there was great attention to detail such as free fresh coffee beans and a grinder along... More

There's a lot to like about the Washington Circle Hotel. Spacious, modern-ish, comfortable rooms (we had a one bedroom suite), great location for business or tourism, a friendly staff that tries to provide a pleasant experience, fair price for what you get. The rooms have a "functional" kitchen and we were able to prepare simple meals during our extended stay... More

The hotel is fine - and with some of the most spacious rooms (really like studios since there are kitchens, so well suited for longer term stays). Conveniently located, the Metro is a block away, and if you need to be around George Washington University, you're there. As you'd expect in the city, there's a fair amount of traffic in... More

I wish I could give this hotel a better rating, as it's well situated and the rooms are fine... but the service is so bad that you're on your own if there's a glitch, and there were a few. A zoo trying to get internet service on their shared computer, with everyone standing around, nobody even knowing the manager's extension... More

Conveniently located: 15 mn walking from the White House and the Lincoln Memorial, 2 mn walking from the Foggy Bottom subway station, 2mn walking from a great grocery (in front of the subway station). The Open Top sightseeing buses stop in front of the hotel every 30 minute. But very NOISY : the hospital is accross the roundabout, and you'll... More
