The hotel was decent for a group of friends on a fun trip to Georgetown. It served it's purpose - walking distance to restaurants/shops, good price, large shareable rooms. However, the front desk staff was rude and the hallways on our floor had a stifling, unbearable fishy smell. While the secure parking deck is a plus and worth the $20,... more

Exceeded my expectations. Stayed here for three days in Jan of '07, and was very satisfied. The price was more than reasonable, and the location is excellent, with the heart of Georgetown a short walk. My room was huge and very nicely appointed. True, it overlooked the highway, which was noisy. But still, it's a bargain three-star hotel. Will stay... more

Huge Suite for the Money! We stayed during April vacation and found it to be a great deal. We had a 1 bedroom suite with a pull out sofa. It was larger than some apartments I've had! The suite had a kitchen, with full fridge and microwave. A dining area was adjacent to the living area with a workable desk... more

The other reviews are accurate. The rooms are very nice. The front desk people are very helpful. The price is very fair. The breakfeast is above average. Georgetown is a wonderful location and very close to tthe center of DC. It is 7 short blocks to the Metro and you can walk to the Monuments. I would stay again. more

This hotel worked extremely well for us with our infants and toddlers. We had a family member at Georgetown hospital and needed a place to stay nearby which could accomodate us for a while with our little ones. This place did not disappoint. No, it's not fancy but it's perfectly nice. The staff are over the top delightful and helpful... more

Very friendly staff. Massive en suite rooms with wireless internet, fully stocked kitchenette with a refridgerator, microwave, dishwasher (!!), and a lovely little dining room section. Beds were huge and comfortable. Location puts you in the heart of Georgetown, walking distance from most of the amenities and within 6 blocks of the Metro station. Breakfast was complimentary and satisfactory with the... more

Stayed at the Georgetown Suites Harbour for one night. Since I was a patient at Georgetown Hospital on outpatient care, I wanted to be able to stay at hotel near the hospital--this hotel was only 1.5 miles away by car and fit my budget. I made sure to call the hotel and let them know to expect me before so... more

I had been warned by a colleague who stayed here previously that this hotel is a 'dump', but actually we were very comfortable! Our room was HUGE, with a wonderfully gigantic comfy bed, a full-size desk, armchairs, a full kitchen with kitchen table and chairs, large fridge, large closet, iron and board, smallish but nice bathroom with nice shampoos etc.... more

My husband and I booked three nights at Georgetown Suites and were very pleased with our stay. The rooms, although very 80's in decor, were extremely spacious and clean; the bathroom huge compared to other hotels. The staff were kind and accomodating. The location was perfect--right in the middle of fantastic restaurants and great shopping (make sure to visit Madelaine's... more

My wife and I decided to take a in-town vacation. We are both from DC, but wanted to stay at a nice hotel downtown. We couldn't have found a better place for the price. Upon arriving, we were promptly checked into our room and given directions for parking. They have a small underground garage that's a $18 a day charge.... more
