My husband and I decided to take a staycation and chose Skyline because of the closeness to downtown. We got their and checked in just fine, friendly staff. Got to our room it was very cold we faced the street so atleast we got a little view. but bathroom had hair that wasnt ours the heat did not work. Their... More

I booked this hotel on Priceline. Worst mistake ever! It is in an unsavory area of DC. I had a hard time getting a taxi. The front desk clerk told me to go stand on the corner and try to flag one down. A man who turned out to be one of the hotel shuttle drives saw me and after... More

It was great to stay here as we planned on spending a lot of time at the National Mall. There was a shuttle to get us there every morning with a few stops. The bed and Wi-Fi was decent. If you are not looking for luxury, but want to be close the National mall... this is the hotel for you.

Believe hotel is used for welfare families. Heater didnt work. Dirty tub. Heard ppl below me all night. Sirens every 3 mins passing. Took 50 mins for a cab to arrive from a call from front desk. For 233 a night I would expect at least heat...

"Boutique" hotel? Far from it. Worst experience I've ever had. I would not choose any room in this hotel. Find somewhere else to stay. My room was filthy. It's loud. People running up and down hallways at all hours. It smells. Dust on the furniture. Someone else's hair in the shower/tub. (Ewwww) No coffee, no conditioner for hair. Only one... More

First of all I would like to thank you for letting us know about your stay, but also to apologize for how your stay was. Considering that the majority of our guests have positive remarks about their stay, I of course was surprised and disappointed to see what you have written. As for the cleanliness of the room, I can... More

This is just a typical 3-star hotel which you don't expect much from. They offer good deals (even if they don't, ask them - they probably still do) and their prices are very affordable. They're located just a few blocks aways from Navy Yard Metro Station and if you're a tourist and would like to walk, you can. Pretty much... More

Thanks for your comments. Many of the areas biggest attractions are a short walk from our hotel. The US Capitol is 5 blocks away, Washington Nationals Stadium is 3 blocks and we are less than a mile to the Air and Space museum, about 20 minutes walking. Our complimentary shuttle makes morning drops at nearby attractions. It stops at the... More

Clean rooms, friendly staff. The walls are thin and the bed was lumpy, but we got our room through an Amtrak deal and it was fine for a night's stay. The lobby was very lovely--we didn't stay for the food so can't speak to that. It seems to be a magnet for large groups, particularly student groups. It didn't seem... More

Great place to stay to make it easy to enjoy games without stress, and walking distance to many DC attractions and the metro. Parking is included, and staff let us park early and take shuttle to museums. Can not say enough about staff.

I stayed 8 days in the hotel for meetings in D.C. The location was good - 20 mins walk to Capitol Hill - and the rooms were fine with front facing ones with views of capitol hill. However, my stay would have been made more comfortable if 1) The free internet actually worked - incredible slow and clunky, impossible to open... More

The hotel was exceptional as well as the staff. We really enjoyed our stay. The rooms are updated and very nice, however, the windows are a bit drafty, and I know they are in the process of doing a huge renovation, so I am hoping that will take care of that issue. Outside of that, the stay was wonderful, the... More
