You enter a lobby that probably hasn't been cleaned since Carter was in the White House & are met by hospitality industry school drops outs. Up to your room. Cross your fingers & haul out your lucky rabbit foot. In my particular room theTV didn't work. Or the phone. Or the clock. But work meeting time so no time to... More

The hotel is old. Hobby is updated, the rooms are not. If you go in the summer with your family (small children) don't use the pool on the weekend. Hotel hosts a pool party for anyone paying to enter. They had a DJ, hookahs and bouncers. As a guest you are not told this in advance. Was like walking into... More

This is the second time I've stayed at this hotel in 5 years and both times was very pleased. People, read the reviews before you book anything. This place is not the Taj Mahal, it's an older, reasonably priced hotel in DC near all the attractions. We stayed here for 2 nights while catching a few Met games and seeing... More

This hotel is extremely over priced. It is an old hotel, whose rooms are very shabby. The desk clerks were not very friendly or helpful. There is no microwave, refrigerator, or coffee maker in the rooms. There was no coffee available at all in the hotel, nor was there any newspaper of any sort. There are also no fliers or... More

We arrived at night on Friday so because it was dark, we didn't notice how worn and dirty the outside of the building was. We got checked in and were told parking was an addition $25 per night. We were then warned that we would be staying on the side of the hotel overlooking the pool and they had pool... More

Very nice location if you want to visit. We have found it very hard but the staff welcomed us very nicely and offered 1 day of free breakfast. Rooms are fine, quality beds. It was cold outside and a minus was that the windows get wet due to the condense. Nice lobby, pool, friendly staff. Parking under hotel, direct access.... More

Better than expected, even with pool party on one of the days. Reception staff welcoming, breakfast good enough. Easy walk to all attractions. Large room with great bathroom, all in all good hotel. Haven't used pool as busy sightseeing but it looked very welcoming. Great price.

I just arrived from my weekend getaway at Capitol Skyline. And all I have to say..it was GREAT! From arrival to departure it went smooth. Here are the things you should know: *The outside of the hotel does need some upkeep and the neighborhood is a little rough around the edges but you do have consider you are in a... More

Close to the fire station so you will enjoy some sirenes. The hotel looks like an old fashioned East-German office building from the outside, very depressing. The inside is ok, cheaply furnished lobby, clean rooms with two small queensize beds and a small but clean old fashioned bathroom. Could do on the details though. Great asset is the large swimmingpool... More

I was pleasantly surprised at how clean it was. I believe the hotel is quite old and has been renovated. Anyway the bathrooms are very small, no working vent fan so expect some real fog during a shower. Beds were comfortable, service was good. We didn't eat at the restaurant but it looked good. We were there as a family... More
