The building is showing some age, but it is clean and well maintained. The staff was friendly and helpful. The building is located just down Connecticut Avenue from the Zoo and the Metro station. It is an excellent place if you are planning a visit to the zoo. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was limited, but there... More

This place is worth the amount you pay for same, quite decent room, but the breakfast is not quite special, only downside is the face that you have to order meals (lunch/dinner) from nearby restaurants or walk down 10-15 mins to market to get any stuff.

We were pleasantly surprised by the Windsor Park Hotel. It is in a grand old building in the grand old "Kalorama" neighborhood just NW of Dupont Circle. Dupont Circle and its Metro stop are an easy 10-15 minute walk down a street full of sights and services. Though the hotel is not "at" Dupont Circle it is a perfectly acceptable... More

Stayed here during a visit to Washington. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable with reasonable rates. No frills, but very adequate The staff was very friendly and helpful. It would be nice to have a little better lighting in the room. Great location - just what we needed for our trip! Would stay here again.

Stayed here on business for 5 nights. Comfortable room, friendly staff, fridge in room. Bathroom was quite small though. Wireless was quite slow. Building seems older but in good condition. Continental breakfast was good...pastries, muffins, cereal, juice, coffee.

I stayed here for two nights on a work trip because of they had the best rates compared to other hotels in D.C. at the cherry blossom time. It was perfect for that purpose: just needing a bed and a shower in a central location, well connected to the metro system. Wifi is free and works well. When I checked... More

You need to be in Washington. You want a straightforward place to stay with basic facilities and no hassles. A quick cab-ride from city centre. This hotel is fine, just fine. I am pleased to recommend it for no-frills tourist or business travelers which is why I give it 4/5.

At the top of the hill in DuPont Cirle which is an upscale, safe, trendy area with many retaurants & cafes. It's close to two metro stops - Woodley Park Zoo being the closest. A short ride into the center of DC. The hotel is old which would be just fine, but the paint is peeling and it is not... More

The value for money is outstanding; I believe this is the best you could get in DC for the price. The hotel does look old, but the location is excellent (metro just across the bridge). Breakfast is simple but filling.

This is a terrible hotel, very old, stuffy and smelly! I checked in at one point and went to the room and checked out in less than 20 minutes. They would not refund me any of my money!!! Also, I was scared to sit on the linen because of possible bed bugs!
