At the top of the hill in DuPont Cirle which is an upscale, safe, trendy area with many retaurants & cafes. It's close to two metro stops - Woodley Park Zoo being the closest. A short ride into the center of DC. The hotel is old which would be just fine, but the paint is peeling and it is not... More

The value for money is outstanding; I believe this is the best you could get in DC for the price. The hotel does look old, but the location is excellent (metro just across the bridge). Breakfast is simple but filling.

This is a terrible hotel, very old, stuffy and smelly! I checked in at one point and went to the room and checked out in less than 20 minutes. They would not refund me any of my money!!! Also, I was scared to sit on the linen because of possible bed bugs!

If a Hotel has full opportunity of making a potential customer and networking customer (could recommend for future conferences) happy, why would it choose to just strip them out of money? I did a booking for Windsor Park through Booking.Com (will never use this system again considering Expedia, Tripadvisor and others give you clearer information). I booked this hotel with... More

I didn't spend much time in my room as I had a five-day conference in the new Convention Centre (taxi fare from the hotel around $10.00). But when it was time to check out, I was sad to leave. Like with any hotel you get into the rhythm of a place, you learn its foibles, its pleasantries and its idiosyncrasies.... More

Stayed there with 2 friends it's a very basic hotel so yes you are getting what you pay for. The room was relatively clean the beds were comfy and the tv worked. The wifi worked in all the rooms apart from the bedroom and the heater didn't work in the bedroom. The bathroom was clean which was great! The metro... More

We had a positive experience at this hotel--it is just dated and old; thus the average/very good review. We stayed there for six days and nights. Decent location for seeing the sights in DC--the metro is only about 10 minutes away. Employees we encountered were all friendly and helpful--for example they let us park our vehicle in front of the... More

I stayed three nights in this hotel. My first night's room made me uncomfortable as the window looked out upon a brick wall. I asked to be changed. They could not that first night but gave me a wonderful room for my last two nights. Rooms were very clean and bathroom had loads of hot water. Older decor, but who... More

Thank you so much for your kind review. We are sorry that your first room turned out to be one on the ventilation tower. We have four of them and we do try to rent them out last. The hotel must have been full when you checked in. We appreciate hearing from you and do hope you will stay with... More

We stayed here two nights, we chose Windsor after reading different reviews from different sites. Here our thoughts: Location > perfect, near the metro and different restaurant. Safe surroundings but parking is a search! We were told either 2 blocks away a parking lot or drive down the street somewhere on the left where there are no signs. We took... More

Thank you for taking the time to review our hotel. We have 43 rooms and 4 out of the 43 are unfortunately looking into a ventilation tower. The hotel must have been full when you checked in because we always try to rent those rooms out last. For future guests, if you are unhappy with your room, please ask to... More
