My wife and I went to DC to visit our son. Normally stay at the Capital Hilton but that was booked. So we tried the Windsor Park because it was close to our son's apartment. The staff was nice but the hotel needs major overhaul. Paint peeling from the walls, don't like it, but could overlook, rusty medicine cabinet --stuff... More

I booked this hotel to go to a local convention. At first I was disappointed I couldn't get into the convention hotel, but the Windsor park made up for it. It was clean, comfortable, and quiet even though it seemed to be full. They had a nice little breakfast spread and my convention was walking distance from the hotel. I... More

This hotel was very basic, but a good enough deal for the price. We stayed on the fifth floor and our room had a small bathroom, mini fridge, queen bed, big TV and small desk. There was just enough space for the both of us. Among the haunting things we experienced were bottles falling off desks, TVs turning on and... More

Hello, Thank you very much for the high scoring review. The management and staff work very hard to make our guests stay a pleasant one. As for the TV and the bottle falling, I have no explanation but as for all of the other things, I’m very sure I know what happened. There were several large groups of kids staying... More

When you get a room for $80 a night, it almost eliminates the right to complain. In this instance however, there is no need - this cute old style building has been transformed into a cozy little hotel. Friendly front staff and easy, quick check in process. 2 queen beds in our room, both of which must of been comfy... More

This hotel is in an excellent location for Dupont Circle and Embassy Row. The property is older but well-maintained and the room was clean and comfortable. The value for the price in a very expensive area was excellent. Staff were friendly and helpful. I hope to stay here again.

Well on 12/2013 I made my 1st DC trip via Greyhound in my life, even though it was cold outside I had a nice time seeing various things there. As for the hotel itself, well I thought it was decent but the room was kinda small IMO. Other then that, I guess it was OK.

Three nights for a conference half a mile away... Nice area, must walk .4 mi to any stores, cafes, or restaurant, or Metro stop. Great price for area. Nice staff. Dated decor, inside and outside of rooms. No coffee maker or hot water maker in room. Few outlets. Little fridge. Ancient blinds and semi-sheer curtains. Quiet. Breakfast pastries & coffee... More

I booked this hotel because it was the only one I could find at a reasonable cost near my conference. The location was great (walkable to Dupont Circle and Woodley Park metro stops) but overall the hotel was sub-par. When I entered the hotel room, there was a musty smell and the carpet was clearly aged and dingy. Despite that... More

Thank you for taking the time to review our hotel. When the subject of the water handles were brought to my attention it was taken care of right after your check out. As for the heating system, we would hope that this review will let other potential guests know that all they have to do is ask. There is a... More

My hotel for stays in Washington DC, downtown: Just a few steps off Connecticut Avenue but quiet, situated a short walk North from Dupont Circles, many restaurants at Dupont and Kalorama Circles nearby. Behind the hotel, the Embassy Quarter begins, with beautiful streets and houses. The three-story hotel is old-style U.S. and you have to like this style, otherwise you... More

We thank you so much for your kind review. Your input has given me the opportunity to bring up seating for breakfast. Sometimes in the rush and crowd, a lot of our guest's don't notice the sign just over the coffee. It says that there is additional seating in the vending area. Its just a few steps down the hall...
