I stayed at Adam's Inn for one evening and absolutely loved my stay. Upon check-in we were given the carriage house for our evening, which I would highly recommend requesting. It is a small carriage house right behind the main B&B house. It is totally private and has a small kitchenette. It was just lovely for a romantic weekend. The... More

I stayed at Adam's Inn for a week for a conference in late May and had a wonderful stay. The place itself is pretty simple (although it was a blessing not having a TV in the room) but it's clean and very comfortable. The biggest plus is the location - on a quiet side street but only a few of... More

We stayed at Adams Inn for a week--we came as tourists wanting to do DC. We're in our mid 60's and fit. Our room had a private bath. the room was very small, very plain, very basic---the bath was the same. It was also very clean. We asked for a quiet room and we were given a room on the... More

The staff were very helpful and polite. The neighborhood is full of ethnic restuarants. The Inn is very clean and the beds are comfortable. I think it is a real bargain for D.C. and you get to see a real neigborhood where people live everyday. Taxis are easy to get and not far a away, an half a block away,... More

Fabulous location and a good price for DC. The room was sparse but did have a queen bed and 2 twins. There were only 2 of us. Well lit with 4 windows. My only disappointment was with the breakfast....all the food had been purchased at a warehouse and only the warehouse brands were purchased. That left a bit to be... More

The Inn was charming in appearance. The rooms were okay, considering the price. Our room was located at the top of the stairs, which made it noisy and rather public. The front office staff was indifferent and not helpful for the most part. The location was noisy and difficult for the taxi cabs to locate. The breakfast foods were simple... More

We read the other reviews on this site. We found the reviews to be spot on except for a few "gripers". Very friendly, quiet place with mainly 25-35 age visitors. Good breakfast and conversations. It is a "brownstone" walkup with tv in the lounge and no phone in the room. Common computer available. Room (with bath) was comfortable and fairly... More

I'm a big fan of value, and this place wasn't too shabby! Its close proximity to the vibrant Adams Morgan neighborhood provides an abundance of ethnic restaurants and bars to sample. The street where the house is located is fairly quiet, except for when the emergency fire trucks exit to tend to a call. The firehouse is located right across... More

Like many others i was pretty frustrated when trying to find a reasonably priced hotel in DC. We were travelling specifically for the Marine Corps Marathon and many other guests were as well. I thought the walk from the subway would be longer but it was a very short trip. It is also perfectly walkable from Dupont Circle. The neighbourhood... More

People from the non-profit office where I work, including myself, have stayed there have always recommended it. When I booked the room, I assumed I would get, as usual, the 10 percent non-profit discount, but when I arrived I was told by a very nice but somewhat chagrined receptionist that they no longer abided by that. Apparently, they had only... More
