This was the perfect choice for us as we travelled with our 10 month old baby and being a B&B it was less restrictive than a hotel. It was a 15 min walk to the nearest Metro stop but this wasn't a problem and the bars & restaurants were only 5 mins away. We would definitely stay here again. more

Historic, yet humble building made us feel like we had a window into authentic D.C. lifestyles. If I'd known someone who'd welcomed me into their home in DC and it was that nice, I'd have felt privileged. Easy walking distance to exciting part of town while feeling apart from it's bustle if I preferred. more

We really enjoyed our stay at the Adam's Inn. We had a tiny room, but for our needs, it was perfect. Adam's Morgan is a great neighborhood, and a pleasant break from the Federal feel of DC closer to downtown. We walked everywhere and saw everything we wanted to see, and coming back to Adams Morgan in the evenings was... more

I made a reservation at this inn hoping for a comfortable, relaxing option in a quaint neighborhood. While the neighborhood is very charming, reasonably convenient (though the walk to the Metro is a bit long on hot days), the rear garden of the inn is lovely and the public rooms are fine, the actual room we stayed in and hall... more

Adam's Inn is a charming set of older converted buildings with homey touches throughout. It's located on a pleasant street with lots of trees and plenty of foot traffic. Nice for families or couples wanting economical lodging in a vibrant neighborhood, but which well meets basic requirements of comfort and cleanliness. A little far from the Metro for my preference... more

The Adams Inn was a wonderful place to stay during our sight seeing trip in DC. It was nice to feel like you were away from the tourist sites and part of a neighborhood. The inn is within walking distance to the metro station and also to a TON of restaurants, clubs etc. We had a large room and private... more

Adams Inn is a short walk from the red or green/yellow Metro lines, and a 1 block walk from easy taxi access. A doily-free B&B as far as I could tell. Super-helpful staff. They even have a handout with nearby staff-recommended restaurants. Good if you want to avoid a big touristy hotel. We were in room #23, which was in... more

We were attracted by the weekly rates, to this Inn and met a number of "longer-stay' friendly guests like ourselves. The Inn is only one street away from lots of local eating places of all nationalities and prices (ahelpful list of staff favorites was provided) & supermarket, if you wanted to take advantafe of the small, (adequately equipped) kitchenette (includes... more

The Adams Inn was a trip back into the time of simple pleasures - like visiting grandma's only better. The staff were warm, friendly, and hospitable. Our bed & bath rooms were comfortably spacious and clean with ample room in dressers & closet. It felt like being a guest in grandma's best room with coverlet on the bed and fluffy... more
