Historic, yet humble building made us feel like we had a window into authentic D.C. lifestyles. Adam's Inn is a charming set of older converted buildings with homey touches throughout. It's located on a pleasant street with lots of trees and plenty of foot traffic. Nice for families or couples wanting economical lodging in a vibrant neighborhood, but which well meets basic requirements of comfort and cleanliness. Adams Inn is a short walk from the red or green/yellow Metro lines, and a 1 block walk from easy taxi access. A doily-free B&B as far as I could tell. Super-helpful staff.
