Dec 15, 2009 | Trip type: Friends getaway

A friend has stayed at the Adams Inn several times, and highly recommended it to me. Although I only stayed one night, I found the Inn to exceed my expectations. A friend accompanied me. We stayed in a large room facing the street. The room was clean, and had a sink in it. The common bathroom was down the hall,... more

My girlfriend and I decided to stay at Adams Inn instead of an expensive hotel for a weekend since my friend is leaving soon to go over seas. We found that Adams Inn was not only cheaper, but a very nice place! The people were friendly, the breakfast was delicious and it was in the middle of a D.C. neighborhood.... more

I needed a place to stay that would be close to my daughter who lived in Mount Pleasant. Adams in was the perfect location. Just around the corner from Adams Morgan and just a short walk to the ZOO. (which was fun to see during the Christmas season) The Inn was in great shape. Quiet, clean and comfortable. We had... more

The staff at Adam's Inn were both helpful and friendly. The room was delightful - very American east coast we felt - both comfortable and with some attractive furniture. The communal lounge provided water, tea and coffee at all times of the day. The breakfast was substantial and the fellow guests friendly and interesting. The Inn is ideally placed both... more

This is a very nice place. Sort of countryside pastoral in a middle of a big city. The place is simple-styled, but very comfortable and ``home-like". Very nice environment and and quiet, nice, and convenient location. All the conditions to relax and enjoy. more

We have been to DC many times with the kids and on this trip decided to stay at an inn rather than a large hotel. We were very happy with our decision. The room was very large. We stayed in a basement apartment. It slept the 5 of us very comfortably. The walk to the metro was about 10-15 minutes.... more

Adams Inn was recommended to me by a friend, and I'll certainly be passing on the recommendation. I stayed for 8 days and then returned for one more night a week later. I honestly cannot fault it. The staff were wonderful - welcoming, helpful and friendly. Both rooms were clean and cosy. Sharing a bathroom wasn't a problem. The bathroom... more

Adam's Inn offers good quality, a friendly staff, a good location (several blocks from the restaurants and shops in Adams Morgan) and a good price. This was my second time staying here, and I have liked it each time. The breakfast room offers a fair amount of goodies. I do wish, though, that breakfast would be available earlier than 8... more

I experienced great service here & my room was nice and comfortable. The inn is spread over three buildings (all right next to each other) and my building had a nice longue area, kitchen, and dining area on the ground level and a laundry in the basement. The breakfast was yummy (bagels, toast, cereal, oatmeal, fruit, yoghurt, coffee). The location... more

Our room was large and clean. It was very homey with a family atmosphere. The Inn is close to Metro stops and great restaurants. We met delightful people at the Inn and my son loved the breakfasts! more
