This was our first trip to Washington and we enjoyed it immensely in no small part because of our wonderful stay at Embassy Circle. You've already, no doubt, read all the other wonderful reviews re the rooms, breakfasts, wine, company.... We can only endorse this and attest to the warmth, kindness and knowledge of Laura and Raymond and their staff.... More

We had a lovely stay at the Embassy Circle! Laura and Raymond, the owners, were warm and welcoming. We loved hearing about Raymond's inspiring life story. The breakfasts were excellent, with a different hot entrée every morning, and the wine, cheese, and conversation in the evenings were very enjoyable. The hosts are very knowledgeable about DC, and were happy to... More

We stayed for two nights over last week-end. The house is beautiful and the hosts were amazing. Laura and Raymond treated us like friends. They did everything to make us comfortable. The other guests were so interesting, we stayed up late discussing many topics. I enjoyed reading the story of Raymond's life journey. We stayed in room 111 on the... More

This was our 1st stay at the Embassy Circle Guest House and it won't be the last! The house is wonderful, the location is convenient, and breakfast delicious but the real find is Laura and Raymond. They are warm and gracious hosts that create the personality of the Embassy Circle Guest House and made our stay a wonderful experience.

We arrived as happy hour was starting and that set the tone for our stay. Laura and Raymond are the consummate hosts. Their passion for their guests really comes through. They wanted to make sure that you were enjoying your stay and were there for whatever you needed. They had great suggestions about places to go and when to go.... More

My adult daughter and I just had the pleasure of staying at Embassy Circle Guest House for eight days during our trip to D.C. Laura and Raymond and their staff truly make this beautiful former embassy a delight. We stayed during Washington's heat wave and Embassy Circle was a cool, welcoming, and quiet sanctuary in beautiful and SAFE Embassy Row.... More

I love B&B's and have been fortunate to visit many in the US and abroad, this has to be on the top of my list. Our hosts Laura and Raymond have restored a beautiful home which is a wonderful sight to behold. They are a delightful couple that has a great staff backing them up. The Embassy Circle Guest House... We have stayed at many B&Bs over the years and the Embassy Circle with hosts Laura and Raymond is the best. The location is both convenient for touring/business and shopping/dining; the house is beautifully renovated and the rooms are very comfortable; they take care of your parking; and the list goes on and on. Its hard to imagine a better... More

The beautifully renovated Embassy Circle offers personable hosts, a gathering of interesting guests at breakfast and happy hour, and quiet beautiful accommodations in a safe, walkable, upscale neighborhood near transportation, great restaurants, and shopping. Very comfortable and unpretentious despite the luxury and amenities. Embassy Circle facilitates conversation and social interaction among guests and the hosts are knowledgable and helpful sources... Situated very close to the du pont circle area, which has lots of restaurants, this guest house is located in a leafy suburb, which is within easy reach of all the major monuments along the mall (short taxi ride, metro, or walking distance). To call this establishment a guest house is a major understatement. Laura and Raymond, host guests in... More
