For those of you that like staying at B&B's, this DC establishment should meet your need. It has location (walking distance to restaurants and a Metro station), comfortable and clean rooms, good food and good owners. A highlight is the discussions with other guests at "wine time".

I read the Trip Advisor reviews and picked the ECGH to stay for my husband's birthday. The house is beautiful from top to bottom. A really top notch renovation and rehab. The owners, Laura & Raymond, are charming, thoughtful and gracious hosts. Their staff, Noelle and Bettie were helpful and friendly too. I just can't say enough good things about... More

I'm a "regular" at the Embassy Circle - enjoying it 2-3-4 times a year - because it is consistently a remarkable place to get away from the noise and rush of Washington while still being close to everything I need. The rooms are lovely and always meticulously clean, the European-style breakfast is wonderful and filling, and everyone (from owners Laura... More

Although my wife and I have been married over 40 years, we found the Embassy Guest House romantic. We consider ourselves to be experienced travelers and have stayed in many different accommodations including tents, hostels, dorms, boats, B&B's and ***** hotels. Embassy Guest house is the best combination of ; the comfort of a five star hotel, the diversity of... More

We recently stayed at the Embassy Circle Guest House and were delighted with our accommodations. Our room was large and comfortable. We were treated very well. Special praise to Jennifer who made our stay a very pleasant one. Prior to our visit she send me a list of local restaurants (her suggestions were great) and once we arrived made sure... More

Having never staying at a B&B before, I was not sure what to expect. The Embassy Circle Guest House is lovely, incredibly clean and this doesn’t even address the staff. I felt like an old friend visiting while I stayed here. I came to DC for work and felt as though I stayed at a friend’s home. Jennifer had wonderful... More

My wife and I lived up the hill from Embassy Circle Guest House from the time it opened. We tried several times to book friends there and it was always booked. As we were about embark on an overseas move in spring 2014, it was our good fortune to find a second home with Ray and Laura Saba. Our "short"... More

Staying at the Embassy Circle Guest House is an experience not to be missed. In addition to an ideal location just off Dupont Circle, it offers an opportunity to stay in one of Washington's spectacular mansions that has been impeccably renovated. The rooms are beautiful and comfortable, and Laura and Raymond serve scrumptious breakfasts in the morning and evening wine... More

On reading other reviews, we were expecting something special and the Embassy Circle Guest House exceeded our expectations! The owners, Laura and Raymond are the consummate hosts, making sure all the guests staying meet each other at the late afternoon/early evening wine and snacks get together and at breakfast. It was very friendly and comfortable and we certainly met a... More

I didn't know what to expect, but this guesthouse was a dream. It's a mansion and former embassy- spotless and beautiful in every way. It was the most memorable part of my trip to DC. The owners, Raymond and Laura, are charming and wonderful people- warm and inviting. And the location is the best. A nice place to walk, shop... More
