I stayed there for two days, August 18th and 19th. Everything about it was great. The grey room was comfortable, continental breakfast was nice, it is near the White House, there are also many restaurants nearby. John, the host, was extremely helpful. I would definitely recommend Meridian Manor B&B.

My husband, my 22 year old son and I recently stayed at the Meridian Manor Bed and Breakfast. -Good location, we walked to Dupont Circle, White House and even to the Smithsonian (it took us about thirty min.) -We booked the two rooms on the fourth floor with the shared bathroom. The best thing about reserving these rooms was the... More

Came down for my girlfriends birthday weekend. John was very helpful in recommendations for restaurants, sightseeing and day trips outside of D.C. Room was very nice and everything was clean. Is in a great location to all the restaurants and bars on U Street. I would recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a nice, quiet place to... More

Meridian Manor fully met our needs for a short stay in DC. The Chocolate Room was amazingly large and comfortable, accommodating my wife and me and our adult daughter. The location is convenient to U Street and Meridian Hill Park. John was very helpful. Breakfast was billed as Continental and was satisfactory, but nothing special. Our room on the front... More

We had a great experience at Meridian Manor. The owner was incredibly friendly and helpful. The accommodations were just right. The location was excellent – we walked everywhere! We trekked 7 miles round trip to see the White House (down the street) all the way to the Lincoln Memorial.

The aesthetic and the service are all good. It felt more like a cool place for hanging out than a room somewhere. Also, the location is great. Very trendy places up and down the corridor and the metro is but a short walk.

Wow! This place is excellent on every level - the quality of the rooms, how quiet they are, friendliness of the host, and ease of transportation around the area. While there is no big sign on the outside of the building (they can't put one up because of historic city code rules), the place is easy to find. Right on... More

We chose this place because it was on the same metro line as our son who was working in college park. It was a great location, near the metro stop and in a very hip area of town. The bed was comfortable, the continental breakfast generous and the host, John, was very friendly. I would highly recommend this b&b to... More

Second time I stay at the Meridian Manor with family in from England. Really enjoyed our first visit so when taking family to DC I of course chose this place again. John was very friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and very comfortable. I most certainly enjoy staying at a nice bed and breakfast where you really feel welcomed into... More

This B&B is located in a vibrant and pleasant area, close to the heart of DC and well located for public transport. John is a generous and ever helpful host, able to advice on all local issues. The place has period heritage ambience and feels secure and relaxed. The rooms are spacious and the wifi works well, with TV and... More
