Booked a king suite with pull-out sofabed in the living room, excellent for a family of three. A little separated from downtown which I liked, since it added to the quiet of the room. Hotel was well-maintained, and the downstairs buffet was better than expected. A very good spot to start touring the Capitol as the Metro's just a block... More

Dear Charles T, Thank you for your wonderful review! We are excited to be in growing area and we are very lucky to be so close to a Metro stop. We do hope to have the bellman/concierge position filled soon so I'm sorry if that was any inconvenience. Thank you for choosing Marriott hotels when you travel! Kind Regards, Amelia... More

I recently stayed at this hotel the night before a business meeting at the DOT, which is only 1 block away. I parked in the garage ($29.50 per night) but there is a Metro stop within a block of the hotel. This hotel is clean and well maintained. My room appeared new. The layout is a little odd as the... We stayed here over the past weekend for a friend's wedding. $15 cab ride from the airport, much easier than the metro. About 15 min walking distance to the Capitol building, and just 1.5 blocks from Navy Yard stop on the metro's green line. Neighborhood is up and coming, we didn't feel unsafe there, but then again we were only... More

My wife and I visited in early May with two children (one nearly six years old, the other four years old) specifically for the attractions on Capitol Hill. The hotel itself was great and within walking distance to the capitol, but we didn't particularly like the neighborhood if considered by itself. We flew in to the Reagan National airport and... I wanted to take a moment during yet another busy day to express to you my gratitude for your excellent hire Anil Lahori, Front Desk Supervisor. I met Anil, the evening of May 11 having arrived at the hotel with my daughter via cab. We were spending the night in preparation for my daughter’s audition for the US Navy’s National... More

Could not find any flaws for this hotel. Was able to check in VERY early. Antaun and Tiffany at the front desk were always friendly and helpful!! Room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast buffett was plentiful and the Chef who makes the eggs was also always friendly and helpful! As far as other reviewers saying there is nowhere to eat... More

My husband I stayed at the Courtyard so that I could attend an event on The Mall and he could attend a Nats game. It certainly wasn't the worst hotel we've ever had, but I left feeling less than impressed with what I got for the price I paid. Positives: The room was large, clean and well furnished. The staff... Great hotel, everything one would expect from Marriott. The breakfast staff were a tad slow but overall still friendly and courteous. Room was clean and comfortable. This hotel is within an easy 5-minute walk to the Metro/Subway and a 10-15 minute walk from Washington Navy Yard. Also a 10-min walk to the Nationals baseball stadium, and yes, I even took... More

My wife and I went to DC to catch the Reds and Nats. This was the perfect hotel, three blocks from the ballpark. Room was clean and roomy. Food service in the lobby restaurant was a bit slow. If you are a walker, you will enjoy a brisk 30 minute walk to the Capitol building and the other monuments. We... More

LOCATION - Please consider this when deciding whether to stay here. This is a decent hotel, but the location is not business friendly. Unless you're in DC to see a Nationals game (the stadium is walking distance) or plan to take the metro wherever you want to go, this is not a great location for catching cabs. The area is... More
