This is a wonderful place to stay for vacation or business. It is well within walking distance to the metro. The amenities are fabulous: Full breakfasts on weekends (with accommodations for all diets) and extensive continental breakfast on weekdays that includes fresh fruit, juice, Greek yogurt, homemade oatmeal, souffle, hard boiled eggs and more, and complimentary wine in late afternoon... We were in USA in Sept/Oct last year, and after staying at what I would call the most horrible B&B In NY, this place was fantastic. David and his sister were lovely and the place was very clean and very very comfortable. I will definitely go back there again.

Good location: very close to subway station; Relaxed environment: you can enjoy a glass of wine sitting in a cozy patio. Yummy homemade breakfast and snacks all the time. It totally worth it if you want to have a relaxed trip in DC.

I booked room 31 and 34 thinking the "shared bath" was between these two rooms. This was for my wedding weekend. When I found out they were in separate buildings, I cancelled the rooms and booked elsewhere. I got an email confirming the cancellation and was charged $25. Will I book again? NEVER... EVER.

Timeless and intimate, a hotel you do not want to miss in this life nor the next one! Homecooked breakfast, a chance to meet other quests in a nostalgic setting. Near subway, capital bike hub and some excellent restaurants.

These two brownstones have been lovingly restored by the innkeeper and filled with delightful and genuine antiques dating back to the Victorian. It is luxuriously appointed and the beds are especially comfortable. There is a generous communal lounge, garden patio and dining room for guest use and these include a cookie jar, tea and coffee and even an evening glass... More

I was only here for one night passing through and I have to say that it was a real find. If you are a little jaded by modern hotels and want some genuine hospitality in a period setting then this is for you. Both properties have been fitted out to best accentuate and preserve the original features from the parlours... More

This place is absolutely lovely. My boyfriend and I stayed here one night because we were in DC for the Rolling Stones concert (and our anniversary!). We got in early and relaxed around the house for a few hours before the show. You could even take a glass of complimentary wine. The house is very much like your typical B&B.... More

This was our first venture to a gay-exclusive B&B for a long wknd. get-a-way, the house was quiet and our room was very comfortable showcasing an era of gracious living . Maddie the house mascot was charming playful & aways around to offer a "welcome back home". The location allowed easy access all the D.C. sights the local flavor of... More

Thank you for taking the time to post your review. We enjoyed your visit. We are not exclusively gay. We are a gay owned B&B that is open to all. We find that you cannot end discrimination by discriminating against others. We want everyone to feel welcomed here and we hope you did. The world has changed so much since... More
