Everything from start to finish was fantastic. Location, friendliness of staff, ease of check-in, rooms very spacious and CLEAN! The cookie at check-in was GREAT(made me want to check out and then back in everyday!)

We stayed at this hotel for an overnight visit to take in a show at the Kennedy Center. We loved the suite. Very clean and spacious. It was valet parking and the street didn't allow for double parking, but the parking attendant did everything within his power to get us a spot on the curb to park. Very attentive. Don't... More

This hotel was great for our family’s trip. They were able to accommodate all nine of us into two rooms and everyone was comfortable. Not to mention that we were side by side this allowed us to open both interior doors to make the room’s one giant room. It was also very clean (no bed bugs) and quite. We enjoyed... More

We were in town to see GW and other schools. It was a quick few blocks away from the GW campus. The hotel was easy to get to and the staff was very accommodating. The room was very clean and the beds were good. We were offered a room upgrade which is always nice. I assume the beds and cleanliness... More

I stayed here in late February 2012 for one night in a 5th-floor room. It was very spacious being a suite, with very new-looking furniture and TVs. The bathroom however was very small, especially the vanity/sink area, where there were no outlets. The service was average, and the staff were kind although mildly difficult to understand through their accent. I... More

As of lately, I'm getting used to the mediocrity that has become the DoubleTree hotel brand. My wife and I stayed at this hotel for a Saturday evening while visiting my brother. We selected this hotel because it was convenient to his place of residence. Aside from being close to his place, it wasn't exceptionally convenient to local attractions or... More

Booked a nonsmoking room and was told "sorry" we only have a smoking room tonight. Just so you know, this is not a third party booking but a corporate full rate room. I have tried for three days to change rooms-the present room REEKS of smoke in the carpets, furniture and bedding. Window don't open. Despite my pleas to change... More

Had a great stay at this hotel. Location was great. Very close to a metro station. The standout however, was the staff. VERY helpful & kind. They offered tips for a great meal and the easiest way to enjoy the sights we were interested in. Older hotel, but felt like it was in a quiet residential neighborhood.

The rooms were large although dated they had updated TV's. No restaurant in the building but a short walk to Georgetown. Nice stay with fresh fruit, Starbucks coffees and teas out 24/7.

We always stay at the Doubletree suites when in Washington DC. We stayed there on Dec 30, 2011 and the rate was only $116 per night. That's great for Washington DC. So close to the Foggy Bottom Metro. This is not a high-end hotel, but it is always consistent. For the price you pay in a city, it is well... More
