I am not sure why there are so many negative reviews of this hotel. I thought it was great! The Doubletree has large suites with kitchens and plenty of space. Valet parking is $30. There is coffee and tea in the lobby, as well as, fresh fruit. Our king bed suite was very clean and comfortable. Yes, the furniture in... More

I made this reservation because my family usually makes out well with the Hilton brands, plus it was near a metro station and had a separate bedroom and a kitchenette. However, soon after I made the reservation, some not-so-favorable reviews started to appear. I figured it was a good thing we were only staying one night. You walk into the... More

Dirty sheets, dirty carpet, old furniture, loud refrigerator, uncomfortable bed. Avoid this hotel.

After traveling for 13 hours our family arrived this evening at dulles and had to go directly to the emergency room with our youngest child. We called the hotel to let them know we would be arriving late only to find they had overbooked and sent is to a hyatt who we came to find out also was oversold, so... More

Hotel is tired. Elevators slow and often broken. Feels like an old apartment. (Staff indicated is a converted condo building.) Could be cleaner...nothing gross, though. No restaurant on site. If you want breakfast, you have to get room service. Staff pleasant while you are there, but are rude if you call on phone. I think internet is free. It looks... More

4 adults and two children traveling so we booked their only 2 bedroom suite.staff were excellent, full of lots of info, maps, shopping tips etc. It was very large room, which staff said was renovated- it was not! Settee was scagged and chair looked dirty, very large table ( seats 10) was marked and old. The carpet by the bathroom... More

My family and I (4 children) stayed in this hotel during a one-night stop-over in DC. It is a wonderful location, just minutes' walk from the Foggy Bottom-GWU metro station, and about 15 minutes walk to the Lincoln Memorial/Mall. The hotel is clearly rather old, but has been well maintained and updated. The rooms are very large and include a... More

We arrived late with young children after requesting late check in, and no rooms were available. We'd booked months earlier, and called ahead. The check in staff was very rude. They sent us to another hotel 5 blocks, expecting us to walk with our young children! When there was a room available, it was decent and the location was convenient... More

It was a very reasonable stay - nice bug rooms - furniture could use some updating. You can walk to kennedy center and metro stop - would stay there again. Rooom service was unbelievably slow - the first day they were at 100% and breakfast took 90 minutes for delivery - the second day when they werent at 100% we... More

4 hrs into our trip home, I realized I left some of the kids clothes in the drawers. Called when we got home and they said housekeeping would check and get back to us. Housekeeping called us back the next day and said they did indeed find them and would send them up to the front desk to ship home... More
