I am actually writing this review while still in the hotel. We are in room 1205. If you stay at this hotel I do recommend requesting this room. It is a nice corner room with a decent view of the Washington Monument. Also high up enough to not be terribly bothered by the street noise.

This property is best for families and large groups. The rooms are nice. The breakfast in the morning is good and very busy. You can get coffee, tea, apples and cookies around the clock. This property is several miles from the Mall and most tourist attractions. It is close to DC's small China Town, some restaurants and a movie theater.

I stayed here for probably the fourth time this year for a professional convention. The staff was great, the room was clean, the breakfast was free and wonderful, and the location was ideal. This is one hotel I consistently try to stay at every year when I go to D.C.

Thanks to other Trip Advisor reviewers, I knew to ask for an odd number room at the hotel. What we found was a room ending in "04" is a corner room. That's the room to ask for when wanting to see the Washington Monument - the higher the better.
