Very friendly staff. Nice breakfast included. Wonderful proximity both to GWU and to the Mall. Rooms were average for Marriott but very comfortable and met our needs for a reasonable price in Washington, DC.

Quietest stay I have had in a long time. Courtyard facing room. No honking, no traffic. Bed was comfy. Bistro prices were steep, but there was a Subway next door. Had to wait for desk service a couple times because no one was there.

I feel the need to lead with kudos to the Valet parking staff for the heroic efforts on GWU's move-in weekend. This is a logistical nightmare for this hotel, and they kept things running like a greased wheel with smiles on their faces. The hotel is a very clean, new property - typical Courtyard finishes. Very pricey due to location... More

We stopped in DC for a quick overnight tour and wanted to stay where it would be convenient to see the great landmarks...the Courtyard did NOT disappoint. It's approximately 3.5 miles to walk to the White House, Washington Memorial, Reflection Pool and Lincoln Memorial, and back to the hotel. It was better than fighting the DC traffic! The smart board... More

First I would like to congratulate Jake at the front desk for his excellent customer service. I called in the morning to make a reservation: he was polite, gave me good information and was very helpful. There was a mistake at check in: the room was not ready. Jake immediately rectified the situation, and more than made up for somebody... More

Good clean Courtyard and service was very good from check in to the food service in the lobby area. This property is located near all the federal buildings, across the street from the Red Cross HQ and 2 blocks from GSA. There are not allot of restaurants within a quick walk however if you are going to have a meeting... More

We picked the hotel originally due to lack of other choices but I have to say, I'm glad we did. Our main goal was to find a clean hotel within walking distance of all the main attractions in the DC area and we did. When we go back to DC, we will stay at the same hotel again. Staff was... More

Ok, the hotel was fine. Room was nice. Convenient for the GWU parent or the business traveler. Can't knock it. BUT We were traveling with kids. Not as close to things as other hotels I have stayed and a little pricier. They say indoor pool, but it's in the basement and about 9 feet wide! We just wanted a dip... More

Dear Jennifer, I want to thank you for your reviw and feedback regarding our hotel, and apologize that your experience did not meet your expectations. While we are within walking distance of the Washington Mall, Museums and Monuments, it is about seven blocks. With the abundant sights in this city, it can be a lot of walking especially for young... This was my first stay at his particular Courtyard. Everything worked out fine for what I had to do on this quick trip to DC. The room was quiet and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. The location was good also. I was able to work in some recreational activities to boot.

This was a really nice small hotel in a great location in downtown Washington, just 3-4 blocks from the White House and north of the National Mall. George Washington University is just a block or so away. Very clean and modern hotel - the lobby was nice with a bar/bistro with seating areas that served breakfast ,including Starbucks coffee and...
