I loved this place, it really feels like home. I was visiting to attend a conference at CUA, which is within walking distance. The place is quirky and all the rooms are different, which I really liked about it, and there are common living rooms on each floor. The kitchen is accessible at all times and the inn has such... I stayed here when my conference hotel was fully booked, and am so glad I did! I loved this B&B. I've stayed in several others in the U.S. and in Scotland, and this one had the best feeling of home. It's very easy to come in and out, innkeepers were very hands off, but kind. The location may be the... More

After four days in a hotel and although this was my first actual B&B experience I must say I found this much more comfortable than a hotel/motel stay. We stayed in the McMillan room and found it to be much roomier than most hotel rooms. Shared bath worked much better than I had expected since it was shared with two... More

Five star all the way! Excellent accommodations, excellent location, excellent service. I will recommend to all I know. Checking in was simple. Flexible in holding luggage before check in. Breakfast was amazing! I will never stay in a hotel in Washington DC again.

Location: This bed and breakfast is located on the cusp of the NW side of Washington DC, exactly 1 block from the NE. In order to get into the downtown area of DC, you have some choices. 1) Walk one block and wait in a sketchy area for a metro bus - 80. 2) Walk around a mile through a... More

We enjoyed our visit. The location was convenient to Howard U and Catholic U. Registration and arrival were as simple as possible. A key code allowed us entry and keys to the room were in the locks. The rooms were impeccably furnished with TV and internet available. Because of the hot weather, I was moved from a third floor room... More

The Inn is located in a safe, in my opinion, residential neighborhood adjacent to Howard University. It is a comfortable 35 minute walk to the Convention Center. A bus stop is 2 blocks away if you prefer not to walk. If you choose not to walk to your favorite "tourist traps," I recommend purchasing a 7-day Metro Bus pass and/or... More

The place was nice, good value for money. It is close to the howard university and close to union station. I think they can approve it terms of room cleanliness and bathrooms. otherwise the place is nice, very confortable home feeling. good value for money as well.

Incredibbly quaint, 100+ year old former church converted into bread and breakfast. Clean, reasonable and great location. The manager's are very friendly and they cook the best darn ham, cheese and mushroom omlette. You can't beat it at a 5-star hotel. Absolutley loved the one day I spent there and hope to go back when my travels take me to... More

We traveled to DC for the Cherry Blossom festival and stayed the weekend at Bloomingdale Inn. There is nothing special about the place. It was definitely not worth $150 per night. It was a small room that was tidy as any Hampton INN in a big city would be. The innkeepers are very cordial.
