Great place for 4th of July weekend ! The garden BBQ was fun,and the food was really good. It was walking distance to Mall. Great view of fireworks from Tia Pan room. It was worth the extra money for the breakfast and snacks available in there. The pool area was just okay. I expected more for such a pretty hotel.... More

We stayed in Room 618 over the July 4th holiday. The room was characterized as “City View” and commanded a rate of $303.43 inclusive of taxes. In addition, valet parking is $50.00 per diem and internet access an additional $15.00 per diem. I booked the city view room in hopes of having a view of the fireworks; however, the luck... More

We stayed at the MO during a summer weekend trip to DC. The location is fantastic for sightseeing - approximately 10 min walk to Smithsonian museums, the Mall, Capitol Hill. You can rent bikes close-by and see many sights with an easy bike ride as most of the Memorials are very close. It is located in a quieter part of... More

We traveled to DC to watch the 4th of July fireworks and the Mandarin Oriental was the only hotel with an well-publicized fireworks package. I haven't visited DC before nor stayed in any of its other hotels but the location seemed convenient with an easy (and pleasant) 15-minute walk to the Washington Monument and nearby attractions. The hotel is unremarkable... More

Stayed here for one night to see the 4th of July fireworks and enjoy the festivities of the day. The service from beginning to end was the best that I have ever experienced in any hotel. There was always at least two or three staff members at the door when you entered the hotel, more in the lobby to assist... More

Of course the Mandarin is a hotel of high standards but that also creates high expectations. All in all the experience was not tup to my expectations. Was it because the Spanish national soccer team stayed there that night on their way to the WorldCup or was it because we were traveling in a group? Not sure but even the... More

We stayed here because of government business - closest hotel. As far as hotels go, this is the most luxurious I've ever stayed at. First off you are greeted by an enormous and beautiful floral centerpiece in the lobby. It is changed daily. Right off the lobby is a bar area, the Empress Lounge, which is great for relaxing or... We had an amazing stay at the Mandarin Oriental. The location is perfect for walking to the attractions at the mall or for a hike around the tidal pool. After all that walking, chill out at the spa where guests are free to swim, enjoy the whirlpool, and steam room. By all means, have dinner at the fabulous Cityzen restaurant... More

My son and I joined my husband on his business trip and stayed here. It's nice. Not super fancy like I thought it was going to be, but that is fine. I like casual! All of the staff was very nice. I could have sworn we left a DVD in the DVD player, but they said it wasn't there, so... More

Dear elle07960, I am delighted that you enjoyed your time with us. However, this is not indicative of the high level of service we aim to deliver. Could I ask that you reach out to me at tharleth@mohg.com with your reservation number? It will allow us the opportunity to look into the feedback you have raised. I trust we will... More
