The Mandarin Oriental Washington is the best hotel we have ever stayed in. My wife and I were on a 63 day holiday travelling to seven different countries and staying in 31 different establishments we feel qualified therefore to say that the Mandarin is the best

We received and were treated with an excellent, luxurious stay. The Hotel employees were excellent and helpful. My wife and I are use to doing everything ourselves, not at the Mandarin though. They spoiled us with service and over assisted with every need. We felt lazy and that is what we needed to unwind.

We stayed in two connecting rooms with the children here in August 2015. The rooms were very comfortable. The pool was great and we had it all to ourselves. for 265 a night, breakfast included, difficult to find better.

D.S., In the 2014 Annual Report of OUR company, the management of the group of Mandarin Oriental stated: "Mandarin Oriental’s aim is to be recognized widely as the best global luxury hotel group, providing 21st century luxury with oriental charm in each of its hotels". If you (I certainly want this as a shareholder) want to achieve this goal, you'll... More

we spent three days in this hotel and nearly everything was perfect. I asked for two rooms conected and we got it without any issue. The rooms were excellent in all the senses. The restaurant is also impressive in quality and service. Congratulations to Mandarin Oriental for the high level acquired.

Great hotel in a great location for touring the monuments, Smithsonian, and riverfront. We came in August during the Congressional recess when the rates were low and got a great deal. The Service was excellent and the staff could not have been friendlier or more helpful. It was a bit pricey for tourists but that's DC. We highly recommend it... More

Stayed here with Disney Vacation Club points. While this is a very upscale hotel was disappointed in its location. While close to the National Mall there are no restaurant options. The hotel restaurant Muse served very good food with an expensive price tag to go with it. Potion size was quite small as well. The room was a good size,... More

We stayed at this hotel in early August during the height of tourist season. It was a very welcome respite from the crowds. The hotel is very conveniently located. It's about 3 blocks to the Mall, right around the corner from the Holocaust Museum and about 2 blocks to the nearest metro station. We were extremely impressed with the level... More

I have never experienced such exceptional, professional, competent, friendly service in six decades of travel. Everything - the front desk, the concierge desk, the doormen, valets and cleaning staff get a grade of 110% from me. The servers in the Empress Lounge and the Muze restaurant are similarly exceptional and serve as if it has been their life long ambition... More

The Mandarin Oriental is a great hotel for a weekend getaway. The service was top notch, and the restaurant had very good food. I will stay at the Mandarin Oriental on my next weekend get away. I can only speak highly about my stay at the hotel.
