I had to move from the Churchill hotel in Dupont Circle as they were fully booked. We managed to get a corporate rate through my boyfriends employer, otherwise we probably wouldn't have booked it as it isn't cheap. It is a fab location with really nice rooms (well on the executive level) and access to the business lounge which was... More

Located near the Bureau of Engraving, we were in a hurry to get to our 9:00am tour. Stopped by the restaurant and mentioned our time constraint. Gentleman who met us at entrance to hotel took our request, packaged what we wanted, and had us out the door in less than 5 minutes. Above and beyond the call of duty--thank you.... More

oo bad you can't give zero stars. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! As a luxury automotive service manager for over 25 years, I know that there's great service and then there's everything else. Who wants to spend several hundred dollars for an overnight stay on his anniversary to have his vehicle get damaged by the hotel and get completely blown off by... More

Great friendly staff, helpful. Well made rooms, nice bathrooms. Fast service. Only issue is that the area is a bit quiet. I would stay for business, but as a tourist would prefer something closer to the White House etc.

My first stay at this property. Stayed 4 nights on business. The hospitality and professionalism of the staff are top-notch, the room was outstanding, and the experience exceeded expectations. I would add that I could not afford to stay at this property if not on business!

This is my 5th stay at the Mandarin Oriental in DC. Their hospitality and service is exceptional. Standard room is spacious, comfortable, with excellent amenities. Meeting rooms and food are excellent. Although my stays have focused on business, I see families, couples, and international guests here as well, and everyone seems very satisfied.

Our room was spacious, very comfy and bathroom was super...had a shower and deep tub. Lobby bar is pretty and drinks were really high quality. They were short on servers both nights so we had a little trouble...but once we got her attention, we were treated very well. They do a great job with service.

This is my second stay at the Mandarin. It is not as 'zen' like as some of the other Mandarin's I've stayed at, however, it's a fantastic home-base (especially in the hot summer). One of the best features of this hotel is the central lobby area. It is a great place to hang out - inside, or out. We dined... More

The hotel lobby is beautiful. Our check in experience was great, the room was very nice but there is a train which runs by the hotel and we heard it throughout the night. We had a drink and an appetizer in the lobby bar on two different nights and the service was ok at best both times. The location is... More

This was my first experience staying at a Mandarin Oriental and I can say I will be back. Service: The first thing that I noticed with my stay was the high level of service. Every single person I encountered on my visit, from the front desk, servers (Muse, Cityzen), the spa, valet, and even the guy who brought the fruit... More
