I agree with the positive feedback left by others. This is the third place of accommodation during my visit to the United States and by far the best in terms of value for money and cleanliness. The shared lounge rooms allow you to relax outside of your room and the furnishings are comfortable and consistent with the era of the... More

Thank you Yoshie and Jennifer for a wonderful stay. I felt so well taken care of. It was a home away from home. The breakfasts were wonderful. My room was lovely. And I especially appreciated your willingness to offer suggestions about where to eat. It was all grand!

Thank you Jennifer for making our mornings bright. You were so kind to our party. And for those of you who are reading this, the gentleman (and I use that word loosely) who recently complained about the oatmeal breakfast was a malcontent. I was at the table when he was there and he was offered many options. If he wanted... More

We stayed at the Taft Bridge Inn just one night, but I wished I could've stayed much longer! Our travel plans had us arriving late, but the evening hostess waited for both of us to arrive and made sure we were settled in our elegant room. I would have loved to see each bedroom, I bet each one was more... More

My husband and I recently spent 3 nights 4 days visiting Washington D.C.,and our stay was very much enhanced by our chose of Taft Bridge Inn. I personally love the warmth and friendliness that is abundant at this gem of a B&B; the rooms were full of old world charm and beautiful antiques, comfy beds, armchairs and good water pressure!... The Taft Bridge Inn is a charming small inn located between Wardman Park and Dupont Circle. It is quiet, well maintained and appointed preserving the historic character of the building. Original wood floors and paneling with high ceilings but the essentials have been tastefully updated. The staff is friendly and helpful with local sights, eateries and use of the Metro.... More

We stayed at the Taft Bridge Inn for two nights and enjoyed the accommodations. The house is cozy and Jen made a delicious breakfast. She even let us vote as a group for what she would make the following morning! I would recommend the Taft Bridge Inn as a very good B and B.

I don't know about you but one of the things I particularly enjoy at a Bed and Breakfast is a flavorful and interesting home-cooked breakfast. I certainly *don't* expect a completely humdrum bowl of oatmeal with a couple of slices of banana and strawberry, accompanied by store-bought wheat bread (and black-water style coffee). This was the "breakfast special" when we... More

We are always unhappy to hear if someone did not enjoy their stay with us. Homemade oatmeal was requested by a few guest but obviously not by these folks. The guest was offered 3 other alternatives with not one dark look given, and finally settled on our homemade granola while his wife had our oatmeal. As you can see in... More

Great location; we didn't have to walk too far to catch the Metro or go to a cafe and it's in such a quiet, homely neighborhood. The rooms were exceptionally clean, are rustic but with furnishing with a modern touch and I really enjoyed Jenn's breakfast ;) I slept so comfortably, I forgot I was away from home. Taft facilitated... More

Being my first time in Washington DC, the Taft Bridge Inn was a pleasant surprise. I stayed at the Inn for 1 and a half weeks. The inn was homely, spacious and comfortable and it was a place I looked forward to coming back to every day after my meetings. The inn keeper and owner/manager were fantastic hosts, always trying...
