4 of 5 stars Reviewed yesterday NEW

Stayed for an overnight to attend an event. Was interested to meet a few repeat guests at the breakfast table (which was my favorite B&B breakfast ever--poached eggs!). Interesting property with lots of charm. Comfortable and had everything I required. It was clean, but a teeny bit worn in places. I would return if I needed a place in DC.

I stayed at the Taft Bridge Inn for several days (Apr 9-14) while attending a conference at the nearly Hilton hotel. The Taft Bridge Inn is on a quiet side street only a block from the Hilton and other Dupont Circle hotels, and definitely provides a wonderfully charming alternative to staying in a conference hotel. The Inn is in a... More

My husband and I came to DC for our anniversary this year and purposely choose the weekend of the Cherry Blossom festival. It was beautiful. I had been to the inn before with my sister and knew it was the perfect place to stay as it's close enough to the metro to make it down town, but the weather was... More

From the price to the hospitality the Inn is a great find. I enjoyed my morning breakfast and juice and even though I stayed in the smaller rooms on the 3rd floor I felt like the whole house could be used at my pleasure. I would stay again any time and would recommend it to anybody traveling and need a... More

The Taft Bridge was a tough one to review. We stayd 5 days and the inn and our room were great. The location would be extremely hard to beat as well. But there were a number og glitches that prevented us from giving it a 4 + rating . The breakfasts were somewhat inconsistent, 3 of the 5 days they... More

Well you cant please everyone all of the time but we really try so hard to! We have recieved other reviews from guests that stayed at the same time as these folks that loved all of the breakfast served, the fresh juice, and the place, but people have different opinions (were glad this isn't the norm)! We have orange juice... More

This was my third stay here on business travel ... great, quiet location a short walk from Du Pont circle ... much more interesting than a chain hotel, and a very solid value for DC ... I'll be back again!

The inn is dacorated so that you feel at home with its old furniture and soft rugs. The breakfast is delicious and healthy. The only downside is, that the rooms tend to be a bit dark, because of darker paintwork and dark wooden furniture, but if you only spend the whole day indoors, this is not a real problem.

I'm writing to thank you for the wonderful stay enjoyed by my Mom and my Sister at your inn. They both enjoyed their stay, your hospitality and amenities. The location is so convenient, for me to meet with them & for their own wanderings. Highly praised, I'm sure they'll be back!

This was my first visit to DC, and I visited for five days for a holiday having spent some time the previous week working in Boston. The Taft Bridge was definitely one of the highlights of my trip. It was in a really nice neighbourhood, with lovely restaurants (4 nights out of 5 I ate nearby and enjoyed each place)... More

I have traveled 2 - 3 nights a week to Washington-DC on business for the past 5 years. I can't even begin to to quantify the number of nights and ten of thousands of dollars I've spent staying at Marriott, which has become a home away from home for me. But this Spring, as the annual flood of tourists descend... More
