Don't need a car to stay here, but there is ample parking if you do have one. The L1/L2 bus stops right at the corner of Connecticut Ave, and takes you to the metro, connecting you to the entire city. Lots of good restaurants within walking distance. Wonderful hostess with great conversation. Comfortable room. More than ample continental breakfast. I... More

i stayed here while my daughter visited American U; and found it bright, clean, quiet (it's in a great residential neighborhood) and very comfortable in every way. The owner went out of her way to make me feel welcome and i couldn't be more pleased. Will certainly stay there again!

We stayed four days for a family wedding in April and couldn't have been happier. Our hostess thinks of every need. She welcomed us back like family and shared her spectacular home and every kindness with us. We feel very comfortable staying at this home in the District, which is convenient to everything and an easy cab ride to museums, Union... More

During our stay at Stone Manor we were able to easily travel by foot, bus and train, convenient for all. Karen is a great hostess, she made us feel like members of an extended family getting together for a Sunday brunch that was indeed a special treat! She went above and beyond the call of duty, graciously providing advice and... More

We absolutely enjoyed our stay at Stone Manor. Karen made us feel welcome in her home, gave us plenty of advice on sightseeing and directions, and shared some wonderful stories. Parking was provided at no cost. Bus stop was only a block away and it was a short ride to the subway which get you to all the important destinations... More

We enjoyed our short stay at Stone Manor, a beautiful home in one of Washington's NW neighborhoods. It's a convenient location--we parked our car for the duration and and took the nearby buses and the Red Line into downtown DC. There are a number of diverse restaurants within a ten-minute's walk, along with grocery stores, pharmacies, etc. Our hostess, Karen,... More

Stone Manor is a very good B&B. The hostess, Karen, is very accommodating and eager to make one feel comfortable and at home. The home is attractively decorated with many works of art and artifacts from Karen's travels, the home is located in a quiet neighborhood, parking is available in the driveway, and on Sundays Karen serves a hot delicious... I stayed at Stone Manor in July in what was my first visit to DC, en route home to Canberra after ten nights on the road in Canada and Ireland. And boy did I make the right choice! From the moment I arrived and was met at the door by the consummate host Karen, who went on to furnish me... More

Karen - really makes an effort to make you feel at home. I was on a business trip and I initially booked my room for three nights but ended up extending and staying for a week. I stayed in the ‘blue room’. The room was clean, comfy, warm, had good internet connection, good size bed, and there are plenty of... More

We were so lucky to find this little gem. Karen was so welcoming and her home was so warm & inviting. The house was close enough to walk to the nearest bus stop and get you anywhere in DC. Also, if you really want to walk off some of the wonderful food you will be eating, the Metro is just... More
