We enjoyed our stay at the Melrose Hotel, the staff was very attentive and helpful, the room (King Suite) was spacious, clean and comfortable. The location was great, close to all of the major attractions and Georgetown. We also recommend going to the Marvelous Market a short walk away for coffee, pastries, and other snacks. more

One week stay in Jan. 2010. Undivided attention from staff. Requested minor room maintenance and got very prompt resolution. Easy, short walk to the subway. Has a preferred customer rate if you ask for online reservations. more

At first glance this hotel looked quite nice, but up close it was run down & needs work. Having said that, the location was great and the staff was very friendly. The room was quiet.
