It is an average place to stay and provides comfortable living for 2-3 days. The receptionist are good and cooperative. It is just a few blocks away from Metro and resturants. The room was comfortable and cozy. The view from the window was nice.T.V was working good and had good channels.Cleanliness was fine.

Excellent location for DuPont Circle and metro. Room was small but spotless, with no noise. Elevator was that old fashioned kind with one of those sliding grates and an outer door, which I adored. This charming hotel is a slice of European in DC.

Although the hotel seemed relatively cheap (for Washington) it is still a lot of money and classed as a 3* hotel. I was very disappointed when I arrived by the overall state of the hotel and the room, it seemed more like a cheap B&B than a hotel. There was a fake wooden floor in the room which seemed quite... The staff was friendly with the exception of the person at the front desk when we checked in. The location was excellent being close to Dupont Circle. The room was very small with barely enough room to walk around the twin beds. Bathroom was small and no shelves or anywhere to put makeup, etc. The only mirror was in the... More

This was our second stay in the Baron Hotel and will come back again. The room was redone recently . Not a lot of frills, but plenty of room and clean. The WiFi in the room was non-existent . Good place to stay with a lot of good restraints and the Metro (DuPont Circle) close. Nice and helpful employees.

The hotel has great location and rooms are clean ...That's it! So, if you are looking for affordability and you are going to spend in the room as little time as possible, you should go for it. We stayed four nights and we payed for two rooms the same that we should have paid for one room anywhere else in... More

We arrived late at night at our hotel on Mass Ave on a Sunday evening. Still hungry we asked the desk where we might find someplace still open. She recommended Kramer's which is a bookstore but also serves a complete dinner menu in addition to Kraft beer, a bar, and an extensive desert menu. The dinner menu ranged from low... More

I'm a high school teacher. I was traveling with seven high school kids. They absolutely loved the Baron...in fact the rest of the week was on Close Up program at the Key Bridge Marriott. And I think they liked the Baron better. I sure did - for the following. #1 Location...come on you are two blocks off of Dupont Circle;... More

The front desk staff was unfriendly. The room we stayed in was super small. No shelves in the bathroom for storage. No iron. Very low water pressure. The mattress was felt like we were sleeping on a box spring and it was pitted. And worst of all....the entire seconds floor hears the LOUD bar music every night until very late.... More

I came to DC for a conference so, I figured I would stay at The Baron since the nightly rates were 50% less than the conference hotel and I was only going to be in the hotel for 8-10 hours a day, and most of that would be to sleep. The location is great, just a short, direct walk from... More
