I've been trying to stay at this small hotel (A European style inn, really) ever since it was the Brickskeller Saloon, and finally found an opening for one of my business trips to the District. After all, how can you beat staying at a place that's located in one of the most favorable locations in DC, for a rate that's... More

My wife and I stayed at the hotel for two nights. The hotel has pros and cons as follows: Let's start with the cons, for the price the room it was very small not to mention the closet of a bathroom, the WiFi does not work at all in any part of the hotel, the hotel has no parking so... More

We stayed here 4 nights. Rooms were rather small but large enough for 2 queen beds. Bath with shower only was very large in relation to size of room. Breakfast is available for additional $5 per adult. Husband & 11 year old grandson checked it out but decided we should go out. There is. Bagels & etc around the corner... More

Actually i enjoy beeing a senior in trip advisor to say nice things about hotels and restaurants. But i believe that i have the duty to alert people fron falling in a tramp. The baron hotel in washinghton dc is a miserable tramp. Starting with facts: The hotel has stairs to enter in no disabled person can enter. The elevator... More

Let me start by saying that I did not stay here, for which I am now so thankful. I booked a room at this establishment via booking.com at a rate that I felt was reasonably priced, given the 2 star rating for this "hotel". After a long day and arriving in the Dupont Circle area close to midnight, I went... More

First of all the cost is less than half of the local hotels and a quarter of the cost of the hotel where my conference was held. Dwight at the front desk is great and very helpful. Room was small but very clean, and a wonderful shower. The bar in the Hotel is amazing with about 500 beers to choose... More

Very recommendable and reasonably priced given the very good location. Clean room. On the negative side, you will have difficulty bringing in and up your luggage. You have to go thru a stairway from the sidewalk, narrow corridor going to the reception and a small/outdated elevator going up to your room. Don't expect any help from the hotel staff. Breakfast... Stayed here on a 2 day stopover in DC. Location is excellent - close to tourist areas (white-house etc) as well as die vibrant Du Pont circle, where you can find lots of nice restaurants. On the lower level, there is a beer tavern - with a good burger and beer special. However, as for the actual hotel - it... More

This place was very clean and very accomodating. The Night Manager was so helpful and explained everything completely. Not flashy, if you need a room to sleep and shower this would be a great choice. The bed was very comfortable as well.
