This is a great hotel in a good downtown location close to some great eating places. Everything was perfect from check in to check out with exemplary service from all members of staff. The rooms and bathrooms are luxurious and very spacious and breakfast in the bistro was wonderful. The gym attached to the hotel is top notch and I... More

I try to stay at Ritz and Four Seasons type hotel properties when I travel and therefore I've stayed at many Ritz hotels all over the world. This particular property is not one I'd recommend. I'll divide my remarks into two parts. Physical Plant (building) The building itself is pretty and clean. There is a nice health club. The location... More

I was there just for a night in Mid August. Congress was not in session and the President was playing golf. The weather in DC was cooler than usual for August. The staff was warm an fabulous. The room was large, clean and comfortable. Room service was quick and at the same tome perfect. A nice surprise was the health... More

My family and I stayed at the Ritz Carlton for five days. We reserved the "Lions, and Tigers, and Bears" package which included full breakfast for four, valet parking, WiFi on as many tablets or smartphones as you want (we had three iPads and two iPhones), and a complimentary movie (we watched the latest SpiderMan movie. The reason why we... More

My husband, 2 young daughters and I spent the long Labor Day weekend at the Ritz Carlton, D.C. It's a beautiful hotel and the service was outstanding. We stayed on the club-floor level and met Nixon, Beri, Caroline, Curtis who were all lovely and made our stay extra special. Highly recommend this hotel.

We stayed for several days in late August just to get away. From check in to check out the staff went the extra mile to ensure our satisfaction. They not only met our expectations, they exceeded them. We don't recall a better RC experience. The concierge staff was the absolute best. They simply could not do enough to satisfy us.... More

My husband and I stayed at the Ritz for his company's conference over a 4 day period. It was the first time either of us had stayed at this Ritz. Our check-in was speedy and the clerk, Nickson, was nice and professional. Our room was a superior room with a view of the shops and stores across the street from... More

We stayed here for a 4 day weekend over 4th of July with two kids. We opted for the Lions, Tigers and Bears package which included quite a few goodies. We were given a very large room with a rollaway bed included in the package. The breakfast buffet was typical but good also included in the package. The hotel is... More

My son is an incoming freshman at The George Washington University (GW) in Washington, DC. We drove in to DC the night before Move-in Day to break up the ride a bit and to get an early start moving in. GW is a five minute walk from the Ritz-Carlton. Upon our arrival at the Ritz-Carlon there was a tray of... More

One of the best weekend vacations we have ever had thanks to the ritz DC! Though the hotel itself could use a bit of updating (ie carpet stains, restaurant booths worn), the service was everything you would expect from the ritz-- and more! I have stayed at a number of ritz hotels over the years, and this location outdid them... More
