Good west side location. Great door men, front desk and an easy walk to Georgetown or downtown. Nice elegant lounge for cocktails or lunch. Very clean with all the amenities you would expect. Not that it's needed, but good security as well.

True to its reputation, the Ritz Carlton in DC is a classy and elegant place. Service was gracious. The complementary champagne was a nice touch. Definitely a nice place to stay. Easy access to both Georgetown and DuPont Circle neighborhoods.

I frequently stay at Ritz Carltons and have stayed at this hotel before but this stay was awful. They put me in a room with two very small beds which was frigid. It took nearly an hour to get the room to get to 65. Several lights were unplugged and I found myself fumbling around the room to find a... More

The location is not great for walking to places where you can sit outside or to shopping but it's a cab ride to those things. The rooms are nice and the attention to detail was great. The staff was fabulous from bell hop, bar, restaurant and front desk. Front desk personnel helped me with a bill issue without thinking twice... More

Everything is perfect about this place if you're doing business on K Street or need to be in Northwest. The rooms are perfectly comfortable, and there is not a better hotel gym in the entire Milky Way. The service is exemplary.

I expected a lot more from the Ritz. The service was subpar at just about every interaction. -Ordered breakfast from room service one morning. After waiting nearly an hour I called to follow up. I was told they had no order for me. I could have dressed, descended to the restaurant, dined and returned in that time. I was just... More

I stayed here for a quick one night stay on business. The room was nice and clean, not huge. The bathroom was the rooms saving grace. Nice big tub that is separate from the shower. Toilet had a separate door/closet, which is great for traveling couples. My room faced 22nd street, so my view was an Exxon Mobil, Potbelly, and... More

My family-grandparent, children and grandchildren- spent 2 nights over spring break in Washington D.C. Our positive experience at this Ritz Carlton helped make this a trip we will all remember as being one of our best family vacations. At check-in, which was quick and easy, the children were welcomed with stuffed animals. The cots provided for the children were full... More

Stayed here 2 nights for conference in February. Through Google, I noticed there was a full-service gym/health club next door. I sent an email to hotel staff about gym fees and was told $10; not a big deal for a nice facility. Once I arrived, I learned that our conference provided free access to the gym (so check with your... More

If I were to give this Ritz "Very good",it would water down the "very good" and "excellent" ratings I've given other Ritz Carlton hotels. This is definitely the most low key ritz that I've stayed in. I didn't have a negative experience and everything was fine, but it just didn't have that "wow". You definitely feel like you're at the... More
