The hotel was great. We loved the fact it had an Equinox gym. That was a great convenience. Location was central. Half a block away you can catch the hop-on hop-off bus and enjoy the city attractions. Staff was wonderful.

This hotel is very nice and the service was excellent. It definitely seems to be a bit more of a business traveler hotel than the usual Ritz-Carlton. It may have seemed this way though because it was undergoing remodeling while we were there. We enjoyed our stay though and would stay again.

I love Ritz Carlton hotels. The staff is always good. This particular hotel takes it to a higher level. On our first day of arrival the bellhop was incredible. He was knowledgeable and gave us wonderful suggestions. The front desk was amazing. Smiling and friendly. One of the employees even saw my young daughter looking at a stuffed animal on... More

The service here is nice enough - everyone is friendly, but compared to other Ritz-Carltons I have stayed at, where the staff knew me by NAME, it did not exactly measure up. When I had someone call me at the hotel but he did not know the room number, the staff seemed stumped by the idea that they might actually... More

We had a great stay at The Ritz Carlton D.C. From the second we walked in until we checked out we were called by name. Our room was beautiful. The whole staff were so helpful and constantly smiling. We used the Club Level lounge and it was wonderful too...We will be returning really soon...

Hotel was under construction so i couldn't see the main lobby area/bar. Places are walkable but only 5-10min cab ride to most places. Room was clean. No hair/trash. -1 for leaving me a dirty crusted pen on my desk. It was so gross i held it w/paper and took it to front desk. Seemed normal i guess.

We have stayed at several 5 star hotels before, and many 4 star hotels, but the Ritz is by far our favorite. Their staff is very attentive and go out of their way to make you feel at home. It is definitely worth spending a little extra to stay at this hotel.

It started when we pulled up to the valet...and didn't stop till we left. Excellent service, champagne at check in to a couple of bottles of water when we left. We had the breakfast included so we made sure we ate at the right place!!! No issues with that. The gym is actually the fitness center that shares the building,... More

At times I feel the Ritz brand is just 'hype'. There was no 'wow' factor for me during this stay. Maybe it was giving out Red/White/Blue ice pops since I stayed on July 4th. I booked the room via egencia and asked for a double bed. When I checked in .. you guessd it no double beds available, only a... More

This is a great property if you're a business traveler. We came here on spring break with our two school-age children. It's a great location to all of the DC sites. The staff was friendly but you can tell that they cater to the business traveler. They also do not have a pool that they own on the property. You... More
