the stay was great, we were there to celebrate our anniversary and we really enjoyed ourself. The staff is amazing and very helpfull. The suite condition was great and clean, the beds were very comfortable. We'll be back !!!

I had a wonderful time during this trip. The staff were very help, polite, and professional. I highly recommend this hotel. I was there for a graduation. The food selection was outstanding and the rooms were spacious and relaxing.

The stay at this hotel was worth the money and it looked just like the pictures on the internet. It was a central location to get to our daughters college graduation and only five minutes away. You could also call back anytime and get hotel reservations added to the one you have already made.

The hotel is tired and in need of an update. The suite was adequate with a separate kitchen, living room and bedroom. The best part was the delicious 'free' breakfast each morning. A typical Homewood with all the usual amenities. Cons: hard to get a cab, warm beer, warm white wine, cool red wine, powdered eggs. Pros: friendly staff, clean, quiet, and fairly close to the Metro. Expensive but it is DC right? In need of a refurbishment.

We thought we would give this another chance after our last "not so good stay". We chose Homewood Suites because of it's location to the college, and more importantly the security underground parking since we had already loaded up the car with our daughters belonging from her dorm room. Suites are large and well-equipped but seem to be cheaply constructed. In my particular suite, the doors to the bedroom did not fit and as a result would not close, and the door to the hallway allowed a fair amount of sound to pass through, so it wasn't as quiet as one might expect. A rude staff person at the desk put a chill on our celebratory weekend. Even worse, the Guest Services Manager never responded to my email. I later reached out to the General Manager and although she apologized she also explained that her staff can sometimes be "brusque." Not acceptable and I will not be returning.

Hotel is convenient for a big family, with a suite that can accommodate 6. The bathroom is small, but overall for the price, it is a good deal. It is close enough to the National Mall to walk, and close to metro. The staff was VERY helpful.
