Pros: Central to the district where I once worked. Spacious suites, clean bathroom, bed, and very polite concierge. Cons: Does not cater to the single business traveler in the attached restaurant. But it is walking distance to 18th and a small but decent selection of restaurants and shops.

The hotel is a manageable walk to the major sites, the nearest metro is only 5 min walk away and there are numerous restaurants and cafes within a 10 min walk. The hotel is well run - a good standard Marriott Courtyard. The rooms are of a decent size. It has a good bar - excellent selection of micro beers... More

Close to 14th street restaurants, DuPont Circle, White House and about 20-25 minutes to the Mall. We've stayed several times and the staff always remembers us. The lobby was recently renovated and is very sleek. Rooms are nice size, comfortable, and most have a nice view. Attached restaurant has good food at reasonable price. Usually room rate is reasonable unless... More

We stayed here 3 nights for a sightseeing trip, not having visited DC in a great many years. It was more economical than hotels located closer to Dupont Circle, but was still only a 8-10 minute walk to the Circle. We walked all the way to the Mall and back twice (about 20 minutes). It didn't make much sense to... More

This place was great. I'm a very nervous traveler and i felt completely at ease here. The staff were friendly, polite and efficient, in particular the supervisor of the restaurant Lorraine Singleton who served us every morning at breakfast. I'd definitely go back.

I've stayed at this hotel for 2 nights and I must say it was very good. It was one of the cheapest 3 star options in DC. The location is very good 10-15 minutes walk from downtown. The rooms are huge and very comfortable. The hotel offers free wi-fi and computers in the lobby. The only thing I didn't like... More

I would have to say i was just shocked with the the rooms at this property. Truly it felt like I was staying in an Econo Lodge room instead of Marriott. Old carpet with stains and what look to be cigarette burn holes (100% Non Smoking Property). Mattress and comforters hideous. Rooms could really use some love. On a better... More

Visiting Washington for a duel purpose- the visit a relative resident here [who currently has only a one-bedroom apartment] and enjoy the sites. We were glad we chose this hotel - the room was fine and quiet [despite overlooking Scott Circle] and the heating/air con quiet and efficient [the temperature varied from zero to 8o degrees while we were there!].... Great stay and excellent staff. We were in town for the Cherry Festival, so the hotel was heavily booked. In spite of the crowd, we were upgraded to the Executive Suite. Particular Kudos to the evening manager, Luis Almanza, who gave us great care and attention. We are Platinum members, and highly recommend this hotel.

I am writing this on a beautiful iMac in the lobby of the hotel. It is a nice clean property and absolutely perfect for seeing DC. Room is clean and staff is polite. We had no issue getting our 2 small requested filled (extra blanket, and roll-away bed). Don't make the same mistake we did by taking Grey line tour... More
