My husband and I chose to stay here as opposed to the Hotel Palomar where our wedding group had a room block. Given he has an elite membership with Marriott and we loved the brand, we figured why not? Boy were we wrong. For starters, I booked the hotel on Groupon.com because a.) I love any good deals on hotels... More

Dear TanvierLee, We are very sorry to hear your reservation experience was poor with Marriott Central Reservations, and I'm especially sorry that the child was not reflected on the reservation for when we assigned the room to you. I also understand your frustrations with the cleanliness and condition of the room, and I want to reassure you we are actively... More

Stayed at this hotel for 5 nights as part of a conference at a nearby venue. We booked the King room, but were told on arrival that these had been oversold, despite our booking being made months prior. Reception said they would look at options, but failed to follow up on several occasions and were never pro-active in finding solutions.... More

We always try to provide each guest with excellent service, and unfortunately we were not able to achieve this with you. I would like to speak with you regarding the issues you brought up about the room type and follow up with my team to ensure this... More

We stayed for 3 nights and found the rooms to be very nice and the staff to be very friendly and helpful. The restaurant was ok but a little over priced. It's in a nice neighborhood. However the noise from sirens (is there a hospital nearby?) woke us up several times at night. I missed having a refrigerator in the... More

There is very little to say about this stay. Staff were helpful, but not particularly attentive or friendly; room was fresh on arrival and kept clean. The attached restaurant was not particularly friendly or well stocked, though they did have a "happy hour." I was not impressed with the rate structure at this particular Courtyard and I was not able... More

Dear Harry E, We are very sorry to hear you experience overall was mediocre. We always try to provide each guest with excellent service, and unfortunately we were not able to achieve this with you. In addition, I am sorry you were unable to use your Marriott Rewards Points for your stay; as we are in a large metropolitan area,... More

This was honestly one of the nicer hotels that I have stayed at in a while. Courtyard by Marriott are usually nice places to stay and this one was no exception. We were right near all the embassy houses and a 5 minute walk to DuPont Circle. There were plenty of Metro stations near us that serviced all the lines.... More

I have to admit that I was not expecting much on my stay but I was truly very impressed on how excellent the customer service was at this hotel. Besides being in a great location across from the Australian Embassy, it is near shopping and some very good restaurants. But by far, it was the outstanding staff and their attention... More

I stayed for one week as a member of a wedding party at a special group rate and would have no qualms about returning here. While the property's age is apparent in some ways, it is generally well maintained and the couple of minor issues that did require rectification were addressed promptly, effectively and cheerfully. All staff members were very... More

Stayed here for one night on a 2 - day trip from NYC. We arrived on labour day, wich made it almost impossible to have even a sandwich to eat with out walking quite a long distanse. White House is about 7 blocks away, wich is a plus. Lobby looking very nice and have modern decorations. The room itself was... More

Dear stinesh, I first want to apologize for the inconveniences you experienced during your stay. Over Labor Day weekend, DC does get quiet as families tend to stay at home or head to the shore for their last bit of summer sunshine before school starts. With that, the restaurants in the immediate area do also close. I'm sorry if this... More

Arriving after 10 pm and 25 hours on our way, we were so tired, we did not want anything but the bed. But we enjoyed a nice chat with the staff who were really helpful and friendly. Room with two queen beds was elegantly furnished and clean. Beds actually invited us to spend at least 10 hours in them :)... More
