What you would expect from a Courtyard by Marriott. Clean, very friendly staff. Hotel quiet but close to busy street, so would ask for a room on the quieter side if that might be a concern. Small restaurant and bar on site. 10 minute walk to Dupont Circle and Farragut North Metro Stations. 115 minute walk to The White House.

Stayed for several consecutive nights a found this hotel to meet all my needs, except the absence of a fridge in the room. Rooms are large and quiet. I faced the main road yet was rarely bothered by traffic noise, which reflects well on their sound proofing. Bed was comfy and sleep quality was great. I'd happily stay again.

I was kicked out of my other hotel quite early and checked in here before 11 am one morning. The staff at the front desk was truly excellent and accomodating and let me check in early. (Note I am Marriott Gold... maybe that helped?). They checked me into a room on the ground floor. My room was large and nicely... More

I stayed here for a small conference. The place has been very recently renovated with nice touches and a cool restaurant/bar. The location cannot be beat. The beds and linens are very good. The staff is very friendly. The work out facility was decent size with nice equipment.

I have stayed here several times and have always been pleased. The room rates do change widely depending on the events in DC. This is a small hotel that is crisp in design and function. While the rooms are small they are very pleasing and the bed is comfortable.. on the firm side. The hotel is fresh. The adjacent restaurant... More

Stayed here overnight for a work meeting so I can't really comment/complain about the price, which on this night was unusually high. This is a hotel my company uses frequently and it's not always that high so they must have been almost sold out or something. I'm rarely at a hotel for business but this time I was. The room... All hotels in Washington were very expensive the week I was planning to stay and I chose this one as it was not far from my meeting place there. I arrived late at night as United had lost my luggage and the front desk had no ammenity kits available for shaving to replace. The room was not really clean and... More

Checked in early (2am) on April 10th, night auditor's computer didn't work(or so I was told), was told available room was 450 but could get it for 299 as he was "doing me a favor." As this was an unplanned stay and after midnight, the option to order online was not there. I accepted the room, he charged my card,... More

Stayed one night for a business trip. Staff was very helpful and cheerful, everyone from the doorman to the lady making and serving cookies. Check in was a breeze and check-in/desk staff again, very helpful. Room was comfortable and clean with the small exception of some dirt on the window sill. The room was a bit noisy being located on... More

We visited our son and his girlfriend in Washington, D.C. for the Easter weekend. The Courtyard at Embassy Row proved to be an excellent base for our activities, both around DuPont Circle and on towards the Mall.
