Overall, we had a wonderful stay! Friendly staff. D'Angelo at the front desk was AMAZING! He was so helpful and nice. Only one con - we stayed on floor 6, and the street noise at night is a little loud. But the location is very convenient - Metro is right across the street, and the White House is a short... More

Location is good, across the street from McPhearson's Sq Metro and walking distance to White House and lots of good restaurants. Booked a suite (#703) but immediately rejected it. The sitting area had no window and was overstuffed with furniture while the bedroom window faced the neighboring building. Downgraded to a large standard room #1414 (top floor) and loved it.... We were close to everything, the metro, the sights, and the hotel was nice and comfortable. The service was outstanding (normal as our experience has been w/Hilton's thus far) and the room was very comfortable. The buffet breakfast was nothing spectacular, but sufficed in giving us fuel to power to and through the Smithsonian museums until lunchtime. Coming from CA,... More

This is a good hotel Central to DC, We had 2 couples staying and had adjoining rooms which was really handy. A combination of a double and a King size was great for our combination. If you get the option, take a higher floor, rooms on 2 are close to Air-Con units and a bit noisy. I'm always disappointed when... More

I stayed here with my 2 daughters at the end of April as we ran the inaugural Nikes Women Marathon. The hotel was easy to find, we took the Metro (the subway) which was very clean and easy to use and affordable , right from the airport. The station was approximately 3 blocks from the hotel. The hotel was clean... More

Actually, my wife and I just today flew back home to Florida from DC. We cannot say enough about the Hilton Garden Inn, not because it is a 4 or 5 star hotel, but because of the way a 3 star hotel does it's business. First of all, even though this Hotel is 'downtown' as they say, my wife and... More

I stayed at this hotel two weeks ago. Rather than rent a car or take a taxi to the hotel, I decided to take the Metro from the DCA airport. The Metro ride was swift and getting to the hotel was convenient in that as I left the Metro exit door, immediately across the street is the hotel. The service... More

The comments about the Hilton Garden Inn, Downtown are accurate. It is a nice, comfortable hotel located in the midst of many sights. Easy walking distance to the White House, the Mall and several excellent restaurants. Michael at the front desk was very helpful and accommodating. A very nice start to our stay. We had a ton of questions regarding... More

The key selling point for this hotel is its in the heart of the city. I went here with my parents over the weekend - all of DC can be mostly covered easily from here. That is all that mattered to me. Everything else was good. We had to pay for parking which was expensive and the only negative.
