Recently stayed here to attend a work seminar. Couldn't beat the location - two Metro stations (Metro Center a few blocks down, McPherson Square across the street) nearby, lots of restaurants within easy walking distance, and close to the White House and The Mall. I didn't need the earplugs left in the room -- Rm 225 doesn't have a view... More

Stayed here with 2 kids, so we chose a 1 bedroom King Suite which basically had separate lounge from the bedroom, all part of same large room but with the bathroom in between. It was a good size room, especially for a city hotel. The bathroom was quite small but was good enough. Not a massive amount of storage for... More

Service by employees here is top notch. From the front desk, to concierge, to bellhop, to the maids, to the restaurant. Room was comfy. Can be noisy if you are are on a lower floor facing the street but the give you complimentary ear plugs in the room if it is an issue. Good Breakfast with a variety of options... More

There is a lot to like about this hotel. I was attending a conference held at the Ronald Reagan Centre, which is 7-10 minutes gentle walk away. Check in was very easy, and the staff I encountered throughout my stay were cheerful and helpful. The room is comfortable, and I loved the bed and the feather pillows - one of... More

Just entered the room, room smells of cigarettes! Called front desk and said 14th floor was best available. Also did not receive room with two beds like was asked during reservation. Nice furnishings, but if someone has smoked in a room, they need to use that $250 dollar fee towards cleaning the room properly.

My daughter and I spent eight nights at the Hilton Garden Inn in April. The location is fabulous - two blocks from the White House and walking distance to the Mall with many good restaurants nearby. The hotel staff is great. We saved time and transportation money staying here and really enjoyed our vacation.

When choosing a hotel in Washington DC, I relied on reviews from Tripsdvisor. I was not disappointed. I chose this location because there is a Metro station across the street and it looked like we were in walking distance from most of the places that we wanted to explore. As it turned out, we never used the metro. We used... More

Hilton is a reliable chain, and the Garden Inns are fine. This one is standard. I found the staff to be friendly and accommodating. As mentioned in other reviews, this is a great location: two blocks from the White House and half a block from the McPherson Square Metro. (On weekends, this is a pretty dead part of town, however.)... More

Great location. This cannot be overemphasized. We were in town for the Cherry Blossom 10 mile run and walked to the start line at the base of the Washington Monument. About the hotel, I wonder if the compact lobby allows no guest to go unnoticed. Hesitate for a minute and you will be asked if you need assistance: directions, a... More

I have heard others say that Hilton Garden Inns are the McDonald's of hotels. They are clean and comfortable and you know exactly what you're getting. I'm inclined to agree. I am generally a fan of this chain. My room was clean and comfortable, albeit a bit small. The room had a king bed and a side chair, not the... More
