I typically try to stay at Marriott properties. While planning my long weekend to Washington DC, I picked this hotel because of its location as well as rates. The location is fantastic. You can always expect lots of walking while visiting DC, but by staying at this Courtyard location we were at the National Mall in just a few blocks... More

An excellent location across from the Portrait Gallery and the Spy Museum. Steps to the Verizon Center and Pennsylvania Avenue. Room was European sized. Very well furnished. Service is very good and commons areas well suited to business. The breakfast area is the one drawback - stuck in a basement. Overall, this is much better than the usual Courtyard experience.

We only stayed one night at this hotel, but it was a standout on our vacation. Because it is located downtown, I expected a lot of street noise, but we never heard a sound in our room, the lobby, or at breakfast. Valet service was friendly, and patient with our 2 children as we unloaded. Room and amenities were clean... More

We arrived fairly late at night around midnight. The reception was helpful but unfortunately our request for a crib was not completed. The next day we asked for it again and received a roll away bed. The third time was the charm though. This was the only bad experience we had. The rest was great. The hotels location is ideal,... More

Very nice hotel in a great location. We stayed in a very nice twin double bed room. The hotel was in great shape and within walking distance of all of the Monuments and Smithsonian's. The rooms are a bit tight but I completely expect that in a downtown Hotel. They came through with all of my requests I made when... More

Our family (2 adults, 2 kids, ages 11 & 12) went to DC for 2 nights to see the museums and monuments. This place was perfect; friendly staff, clean rooms and perfect location. There is a small pool & hot tub, as well as a small fitness room and workout room. The hotel used to be an old bank and... More

I arrived at this hotel with my two daughters and my niece after a 8 hour drive in the rain. It was our first stop on a two week road trip. We have been so impressed with everything so far! The valet was friendly and so helpful. Amin was at the desk and he was fantastic! He was friendly and... More

This property was ideally located for our business trip. (Full disclosure: I was able to get a lower corporate rate.) PROs - location - close to Metro, restaurants, attractions (Spy Museum, Smithsonian Art, Chinatown, etc. Even the National Mall wasn't that far away.) - 5 elevators = few/low wait times - concierge lounge is nice if you get access (Hilton... Stayed two nights in two rooms on a weekend in June 2015. The room was supremely quiet, even though it looked out on F Street. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was well appointed. Only gripe would be that the sink was separate and outside of the bathroom, but open to the rest of the room. So anyone asleep... More

We stayed here for 3 nights while sightseeing in Washington. The location is excellent. It is walkable to the National Mall and Smithsonian Museums. The National Portrait Gallery, Fords Theater, and the National Archives are nearby. Also, there are many dining options in the area. All the staff members we met were extremely friendly and helpful. The building is rather... More
