Loved this hotel, and if only there were a pool, it would be perfect! Super nice! Fast food or fine cuisine all within walking distance. National zoo is only a 10 minute walk. The rooms are very comfortable and stylish. The variety of restaurants in the hotel make it so that you don't even have to leave if you don't... More

I was recently at the Marriott Wardman Park for a conference and definitely had some very positive experiences and some negative. In looking at the areas of concern first: I will start with the bathroom. I stayed in a king bed room and although the bathroom design best utilized the space with a space saver sink and wall shelving the... More

We've had a busy summer full of travels. This time, three hotels in one week. The Wardman was our first stop. Located in the Woodley Park area, it is just a few blocks from the National Zoo. It's more in a residential area. The hotel grounds were beautiful and well maintained with lots of flowers and several seating areas under... More

We come here annually for a conference.. I love the location in DC; the staff; and finally this year marriott got rid is their stinky lotions! Good restaurants are down the hill or better ones just a good exercise up Connecticut ave closer to DuPont circle .. Close to zoo; jogging/walking path in mornings..

This was my first extended stay in Washington DC, and by far the Marriott Wardman is an excellent hotel. My fraternity the Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity Inc. recently celebrated our centennial anniversary at this hotel. The staff went above and beyond to assure that all 8000 + men were taken care of. No one..I mean absolutely no one displayed in... More

Met here by chaos....lines all over lobby for both check in and out separate desks set up to hand out keys and over seventy people ahead of me in line to check luggage while I waited for a room. Desk staff informed me that despite upper tier frequent traveler membership, rooms were assigned first come first serve, that I may... More

Had requested a king bed, when I complained that U didn't get what I requested, I got moved to the most awful I've ever had at a mid-/up-level hotel. Doesn't smell or look clean. View is a wall and shingles. Very worn! Also, room are not soundproof. You can do better in DC. I have a Marriott Rewards Card, after... More

This was a great hotel! I was very impressed! The concierge lounge was one of the best, it was open and had food/snacks all day and served Breakfast, snacks, desserts, and had cookies/coffee when there wasn't a scheduled "meal". It also was fully stocked with drinks (alcoholic and non) My room was comfortable, great AC that wasn't too loud. I... More

The room was aging, the toiletries never restocked, and the public areas crowded and noisy. Worst, we were given a room that ignored our bed choice and the manager, indifferent and nearly rude, made no effort to accommodate us. We were not valued clientele but only objects to be dismissed. I will never stay here again. Generally we have enjoyed... More

I stayed at the Wardman Park for 3 days while I was in DC on business. The hotel is very large and my 6th floor room was in the Center Tower. I had a lovely view of DC looking to the east. The room was pristine clean, nicely furnished, and the bed was very comfortable--I especially loved having feather pillows,... More
