I visited this hotel as part of a large convention and I must say, there are problems here. On my first day, we had an all-day meeting in the Ballroom and, even though the staff at the hotel was asked repeatedly, all of the attendees were cold all day. Everyone from the head of convention planning at the hotel was... more

My family (parents, my husband and my kids, ages 6 and 10) stayed at this hotel for 3 nights during June. I was at first excited because the lobby was beautiful. When we got to the room I was very disappointed. The size of the room was tiny and the bathroom only had room for one person to stand at... more

My partner summed up our feeling about this establishment when he walked into the room... you feel like you can relax when you walk in the door. The hotel is very convenient to the Metro. It has a nice bar. The rooms feature flat screen televisions with HD service and are elegantly appointed. Such a relaxing hotel. more

I am currently staying in this hotel, and I have to say I a dismally unimpressed with the staffing of this hotel. Upon check-in, I told the parking attendant I was going to self-park instead of valet, and he said sure, just ignore the valet signs in the lot, and park on the top level. I pull through, and to... more

Most impressive for me was the hotel willing to accommodate an extremely early check-in due to a red eye flight the night before. I had requested early check-in prior to my arrival and it obviously cannot be guaranteed, but upon arriving at 6:00am I was given a room immediately. This made sightseeing the day before my conference so much more... more

I had seen this hotel any number of times when I was visiting DC and the zoo and had admired it. Scored with $60 on priceline and wasn't disappointed especially at that price. Granted, we had a second floor room with a stunning view of the airconditioning unit, but at $60 I don't complain about anything. Room was lovely though... more

I stayed at this hotel for seven nights in June. I paid 85.00 per night on priceline. This was a excellent price and a wonderful hotel. I stayed in the older tower, the room was large and a fridge was located in the room as well. The fridge kept drinks very cold, almost frozen. The room was cleaned daily. This... more

I stayed here for two nights that I booked on priceline. When I checked in at 2 AM after a long flight, the clerk looked up my information and then disappeared for about 5 minutes. I guessed that he was conferring with the manager (he seemed really young and really Irish...in fact, I think the word 'Ireland' was in his... more

This is a massive hotel - 1500+ rooms - so be prepared to spend a LOT of time getting to and from your room, the pool and/or the garage. Because it's an old apartment building fused together with a massive U-Shaped wing on top of what appears to be 50 meeting rooms, be prepared for one confusing layout. We stayed... more

We stayed here for 2 nights to visit DC. Only paid $95/nt through Priceline, but this hotel did not treat us like that! We were given a great room with a view of the Washington monument. This hotel is right across the street from the Woodley Park metro, as well as a pizza place, McD's and CVS. Parking is $32/night,... more
