Incredibly warm and attentive staff, excellent accommodations and a five minute walk through a very safe neighborhood to the Metro. The lobby bar serves what may be the greatest cheeseburger on earth.

Stayed here for a conference. Great, comfortable room & common areas. Stadium seating for meetings which were more executive education. Great set-up. Fantastic gym space also, although somewhat cut-up on different floors. Location is sort of in dead area of DC between Foggy Bottom and Georgetown, but easy to get around. There is some outside construction going on to the... More

The view of the city from our room was amazing. We only had 1 night in DC on a 3 week tour of the USA and this was our treat. You are within walking distance of the White House, Lincoln Memorial, Capitol Hill and all the other tourist spots such as the Smithsonian Museum etc. I would stay here again... More

Travel to DC about 6 times a year for business. Stayed a few times at the Fairmont, in part, for a Conference and easy access to meetings. The hotel is going under an outdoor refurbishment project ... which is a good thing. But, not on a Saturday morning before 9 a.m. Also, the hotel caters to many conventions and needs... More

We chose Washington as a stay over city for us to spend a couple of nights before heading off to Vegas and California before our wedding. I had low expectations of the city, and just thought of it as a base. I was wrong on every single level We got off our underground at Foggy Bottom station and it was... More

Stayed here for 2 nights. A truly lovely hotel in a great location but what makes it special are the staff. The bar staff deserve a special mention. Attentive but not over the top. One in particular from Morroco who knew his football which pleased our 9 year old no end. He supported Arsenal but we won't hold that against... More

The hotel provides an all around amazing experience, the hotel itself is extremely nice, with a great courtyard. The restaurant attached to the hotel is pretty good, but most importantly, the staff makes a large difference. From the moment you walk until you leave you are met by an extremely helpful and understanding staff. This is extremely rare in a... More

Overall, a very nice property. Staff is friendly, rooms nice, decor understatedly elegant. One complaint is parking. Pulled up to check in and gave keys to valet--come to find out next day that parking is $48 a day. They should mention this to you. When I complained next day to concierge he tells me "it's on our website, printed on... More

We loved the location. Easy to get to the hop on hop off tour and then at night a quick walk to Georgetown for dinner and some shopping. Georgetown is a great way to end each day without getting in a cab or car.

We were very grateful to be able to drink in such a great room with a well-trained staff. The joint is all class and run by pro bartenders. I wish I lived there. Room was nice and the location is convenient, a short walk to the subway and a bit more to Georgetown.
