We spent a very comfortable 2 night stay with Simon and Robyn. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble to them, even when it came to recommending local stores and place to visit during the Government shutdown. Breakfast was specially prepared off a comprehensive menu. This is a place for guests who are happy to interact with the splendid hosts... More

Thank you Simon, Robyn and Teddy and Freddy. We had a very comfortable stay in your home. We loved Simon's breakfast each morning, sitting in the garden. We felt very spoilt. We were able to walk to the capitol and downtown, but could easily catch the metro from eastern markets. The Capitol Hill area has a lot of charm, with... More

Cozy place in a residential neighbourhood. Very close to Union Station and the National Mall. Private location with only one room. The hosts make us feel at home! The directions van B&BWashingtonDC were correct, but if you use public transport from Washington International Airport don't follow all the directions. Take the bus to l'Enfant, but from there take a taxi... More

We felt welcomed and at home from the moment we were greeted at the curb by Simon and Robyn and Teddy, their canine goodwill ambassador. The room upstairs was comfortable and well appointed (iron/board, extra towels, comfy terry robes, extra pillows and blanket) with TV and sitting area; the downstairs (mid-level) filled with mementos and works of art from the... We were maximally satisfied and can 100% recommend. It's better than a hotel, it's like visit of family friends. The house has very convenient location, the rooms are decorativly furnished and equipped, but also practical. The hosts provided us any help and informations we needed. Simon's breakfast in the patio, that is a pleasure.

Wonderful stay. The location is great--close to Union Station and Capital Hill. Breakfast was really nice; we were given a choice on what we would like and it was served in courses outside on a lovely patio. The room was very nice and clean and quite. And--- the Host is great made our stay away from home very inviting. Beautiful... More

Excellent place to stay! We did not want to have to use our car at all while here and it stayed right in front of the inn-a place saved for us by the owner with his car. We were welcomed in by Simon and Robyn and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The one guest room is comfortable, clean and quiet. The... More

Our stay at the Apple Tree Inn was thoroughly enjoyable. The owners are interesting and incredibly helpful and welcoming. Every accomodation was made for my food allergies while my boyfriend had a hearty English breakfast each morning. The B&B is in a beautiful part of DC, full of old row houses and luxe gardens; within walking distance of the Mall... More

We truly enjoyed every aspect of our stay at Apple Tree Inn. The location is very handy for walking to the Capital Mall area and the monuments, as well as the Smithsonian Museums. There are good restaurants in the area, too. The room was very comfortable and clean and the breakfast was excellent...but the main feature we enjoyed the most... More
