5 of 5 stars Reviewed yesterday NEW

This hotel appears to be very new, on the edge of Chinatown, a couple blocks from the Metro and a reasonable walk from Union Station. The lobby is bright and welcoming, our room was quite small (no side chair), but comfortable and very functional. Lots of electrical plugs, TV high enough for easy viewing from the bed, robust free wifi.... More

My family of four stayed here over the July 4th weekend to take part in all of the Washington DC festivities. The hotel was completely full and the staff did a nice job of keeping everything running smoothly. The price included a buffet breakfast, which of course was very crowded, but there were still choices for everyone! I really appreciated... More

I stayed here with my family (single mom with 19,18,12yr olds). It was in the middle of everything therefore you have access to everything. There are local restaurants steps outside the hotel. The museums and monuments are walking distance away as well. Also it close to Union Station for those guided tours. The hotel staff were great very helpful. There... More

When I leisurely travel to major metropolitan areas, I like to use taxis or rental cars only if I have to. As many reviewers have noted, this Fairfield Inn is located within a few blocks walking distance of the metro line. My wife and I took the Yellow Line from DCA in to the Gallery Place/Chinatown metro stop (~15 min.)... More

This hotel is great – stay here! The location is perfect for sightseeing. It is very close to a large Metro Station, and you can walk to all of the typical Washington DC sites. There are restaurants nearby, and even a Corner Bakery next door. If you are attending an event at the Verizon Center – the location is ideal.... More

We loved the location. Very close to a metro station if you want public transportation but we walked everywhere. Close to Ford's Theatre. I wasn't fond of the parking situation. You have to valet so you're unloading everything out of your car on the curb. But it wasn't too bad just not my preference. The staff was wonderful! Breakfast buffet... More

I took my nephew on vacation at the end of June to Washington DC and we took a side trip by train to Baltimore. This location hits three really big concerns: 1) cleanliness 2) value 3) location. Our room was beyond clean. I am picky and check everything upon entering hotel rooms. I could not find a single thing wrong... More

This was the first time i stayed at Fairfield Inn & Suites. I was delighted to know how close i was to all sites. The room was clean and nice and the employees were a delighTt as well. The HR/Accounting Manager, Ms.Terri Smithson is truly a gem. Any concerns you may have she will address immediately. The staff is very... More

Hotel is located just a few blocks from the mall and tons of other Washington landmarks. Also very close to downtown conference hotels. The staff was friendly, helpful, prompt. The free breakfast is tasty and plentiful - the days I stayed they were full, but staff kept the breakfast fresh and full. All the coffee, tea, cold water you need... More

We were a little hesitant to stay here at first because we wanted to make sure it was a safe area. We had a really good experience. It was a fun area to be in. We got a good taste of the city. Our room was clean and the hotel staff was friendly and helpful. Our breakfast was good and... More
