I booked this room after calling them directly to question the location. Although they are named Union Station they are 15-20 minutes away by car. However they assured me that the hotel shuttle whould take us to Union Station any time we wanted. NOT TRUE! The shutlle runs once every 30 minutes from 7am to 11am and once an hour... More

I have just been asked for my feedback from the person who booked this at work. Here is what I wrote: • Smoke smell and cigarette holes in bed sheets • Stains on walls and bed sheets • Room had one tiny window which didn’t open • Location – in between a dual carriageway and a railway line – literally... This is probably the worst place i have ever stayed! it has a shuttle bus which we were told went to union station ( which is NOT close) so we waited 20 min before it was expected it came into the station and went straight out with out even stopping, this was the last one at 11pm, so we had... I do not rate this hotel at all. The location is 20 minutes in a taxi outside Downtown Washington DC in a run down derelict neighbourhood. The room rate was expensive for the service, room and hotel facilities received. The 'gym' had no water cooler or cups in it, the restauarnt was lacking and the hotel staff (with the exception... I checked on google maps before staying at the hotel so knew it was about 2km from union station. The hotel has a shuttle which was running every 20 minutes or so until 11pm. The area around the hotel is not nice but with the shuttle I did not see it as a problem as the trade off is much... More

Though I had read many mixed reviews, money is tight so we thought we'd be the lucky ones. WE WERE SOOOOO WRONG> The first sign should have been after I booked the room, called ahead of time and asked if our credit card would be charged early from their website and I was assured this wouldnt happen, march 13th our... Ok, long story short, the hotel was cleanish, worn out but a good deal. we stayed one night and were going to stay two, but.....we made the mistake of driving to dinner, when we got back, there was no place to park. They were having a party that night......we were told at the desk they could do nothing for us.... More

I stayed at the Comfort Inn and suites near Union Station with a group of girlfriends last weekend. If you are looking for a affordable downtown hotel in DC - don't look any further. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable about hot spots in DC. The rooms were looked brand new and the continental breakfast had a excellent choices.

Do not stay here. We stayed for Shamrock Festival because it was a hotel close to RFK Stadium. They have bed bugs in the room. Im hoping that my friends and I were just bit while we were there because if they came home with us, Im going to be devastated! I have never had any problems with any hotels... More

First, it is NOT near Union Station. It's a 35 minute walk to Union Station, according to Google Maps. I didn't even try it. I was expecting I would be able to do all my journeys by subway, but that made it impossible. The hotel is in a bad neighborhood, so I decided to do everything by cab, but that... More
