Myself and my husband stayed at Comfort inn, Washington for 2 nights. We were disappointed by the location, it doesn't look safe, but the staff seemed very friendly. We arrived at midnight and we were both a little peckish. The manager Raj Rathod was extremely accommodating and went and got some fruit for us. He was very helpful throughout our... More

We choose this hotel because I have used Comfort Inns through out the states and always been very satisfied. I made a big mistake in not checking a) Location [I usually do a virtual 'google map' walk around the area and b) not looking at Trip Advisor for reviews something I usually always do. It was the last stay in... More

Location is very bad, also not a safe area. Carpets are dirty.Train goes by right behind the building every half an hour...it disturbs your sleep. Staff was very nice, but I did not like the location.

This was a good hotel, comfortable beds, decent hot breakfast, but the thing that made it great for a family trip was the free shuttle to Union Station. No worries about driving in a strange city or stressing out to find parking -- just take the Metro everywhere. Annette drove the shuttle on the weekends and did an awesome job... More

I ended up in this hotel because all the other hotels were booked out for the graduation week. So this was not my preferred choice, especially I was forewarned that it is located in an area where the crime rate has only dropped recently. Nearby shops or restaurants don't exist. I would say that this is worse than a motel... More

I have stayed at some really fine hotels for $200.00 and this was not a fine hotel. From the wet dog smell in the elevator, to the dripping ceiling in the breakfast room, to the beaten up bed linens, to the promise of regular shuttle runs back and forth from Union Station that never materialized this place missed the mark... Initially we were very disappointed with this hotel - they didn't have our booking and the location is the pits. We didn't get off to a good start. The rooms are older and a little shabby but... they are very comfortable and everything did work. The beds and pillows were surprisingly comfortable and the shower was fantastic. Breakfast was also... More

This hotel is located 5 miles outside of downtown DC on the wrong side of the tracks - literally! The neighborhood is less then desirable. There is nothing in walking distance with the exception of a store that sells beer and a gas station - not that you would wander there anyway. The staff is friendly and helpful in light... More

Please do not ever give 1600 New York Ave your business. They treat black people differently from the white population. There are separate eating quarters for white and blacks. Even when it comes to the cleanliness of the room, black people have to deal with dirty towels, nasty maid service...AND BED BUGS! THIS HOTEL WAS JUST SHUT DOWN FOR BED... More
