The poor reviews about this place do not lie. It is dumpy, we got over that part. The worst part of it is the horrible service from the staff. Very non-responsive and also uninformed. I asked about a vending machine, they said yes they have them and pointed me in a direction. There was a pop machine and that was... More

This hotel is a massive disappointment. It was sold to us as a 3 star property but there's a huge discrepancy between the quality of rooms. Some staff are incredibly unhelpful. The property completely lacks appeal, is tired, warn, dirty and in a poor area. The breakfast room is too small for the volume of people that stay at the... More

Traveling with five children leaves us few options with regard to hotels. We must book 2 rooms, and we admittedly look for a bargain. That being said, this was too much of a bargain for my liking. First, when making reservations we were assured of receiving adjoining rooms only to be told upon arrival that there are no adjoining rooms.... More

Reception staff unfriendly, they get irritated once you ask second Q. They just dismiss guests and pay no attention to any requests. Terrible rooms, dirty, run down. You can not find worse breakfast in this country, do not even try. DO NOT EVER STAY THERE, BETTER STAY AWAY

Bad case of bed bugs. Called the General Manager three times with no return call. I think that says enough. I would recommend booking a room somewhere else in the hopes of finding a place where management cares.

The rooms are run down, the breakfast is pathetic, there are insects infesting the rooms, the cable TV doesn't work well and the wireless internet is slow. The area is horrible and the price is extortionate for the terrible quality. Do yourself a massive favour and stay at the CourtYard Marriott next to Noma station, it is everything this place... More

Unfortunately not much to like about this hotel. Reception staff friendly and that's about where the good stops. Rooms old and run down, smelly. Locations near to NOTHING! They give you directions to walk to nearest Metro station, be prepared for a long long walk. And we have been told by many do NOT do this walk after dark. A... More

This hotel is run by some seemingly very nice people but the maintenance is poor and it is very out of the way. The interior of the rooms is run down but they do keep it clean. If you are simply looking for a clean overnight it is a possiblity but if you are at all looking for enjoyment, I... More

The hotel is located in one of the most shady areas of Washington, D.C.. The hotel rooms are shabby . Corridors leading to the room are dirty.. If you are traveling with your family pa y more and stay in a safer hotel

Stayed here for one night and I will say that you will only want to spend one night here. 1. My room had a microwave, refrigerator and a decent bed but needs an overhaul badly. The tub had some icky yellow stuff not going to try and speculate on what it is. 2. There is an Amtrak yard along with... More
