I would not recommend my worst enemy to this hotel. My husband and I was disappointed in this place. First of all the room was terrible. The bed was so small we called it a baby bed. The carpet on the floor was dirty and hole underneath as you walk across it, floor creeping. Made my flesh crawl. Shower water... More

The bed is worn and you can feel the springs through. It squeaks like hell too. Small room with just enough space to walk around the bed. Quite clean. Toilet leaked so it started refilling in the middle of the night. Complementary towels are not changed daily. We received the same ones daily, just folded. Airconditioning made a lot of... More

I didn't stay in a shared room but had a private double. the room was cozy (small) but the bathroom was very roomy. The place is clean and quiet. It's located in a Trendy part of town so coffee shops, pubs, and dining options were a block away. There is a Whole Foods market around the corner. WI-Fi junkies may... More

We came here this past weekend for our trip to DC. After spending an hour looking for parking, I approached the check-in desk to inquire about the parking lot they advertise on their site. I was advised the $30 a day lot was already full (20 minutes after check-in...wow that was quick) and that I could park nearby in a... More

I stayed at the District Hotel during a recent short visit to Washington DC. I was very thrilled with the accommodation provided at the District. The room was very large with two beds, a large television, large wall mirror, window air condition, a ceiling fan, wifi connection and many electrical outlets for plugging in chargers etc. It was also very... This is my second stay. Nice location. Clean. Friendly staff. They redecorated in 2015 and moved all mirrors from dressers. The mirror in the bathroom is so high up you have to get a chair and stand on it to check your hair. If you are a man under 5'8" you will not be able to shave. I talked to... More

We booked this hotel because of the price and location, but I was nervous because of it's low reviews on Hostel World, specifically about customer service and people arriving with a confirmed reservation but being denied a room. Our experience was excellent. The staff were very friendly and helpful and speak Spanish and English. There is a breakfast offered for... More

A relatively economical (around $150 per day) hotel with a good location. Around 15 - 20 minutes walk from White house / Washington monument. Friendly staff. Small rooms. Good breakfast for $5 a closeby 7/11

I knew what I was getting here before booking the reviews are very accurate. The hotel provides a good base to explore Washington, 25 min walk from the White House area, got a very cheap price on Expedia. I had a comfortable clean double bed (slept well) which took up the entire space in the room. No wardrobe, no clothes... More

This hotel has a great location, two blocks from a Whole Foods, right off of 14th street, not too far from McPherson Square metro stop, close to good restaurants. The hotel room was really basic but it had all the essentials: good lighting, nice bathroom and shower, free wi-fi and good bed and a fridge. No frills but for the... More
