CONS: In a nutshell, the room was small, old and had multiple malfunctions: 1) The toilet ran constantly and eventually overflowed, flooding the carpet in the entryway. 2) The so-called upgraded LG televisions had absolutely lousy analog-only reception. 3) The remote control didn't work, but they fixed this quickly. 4) They changed my room after the toilet problem and the... more

Had a basic standard room. Bed was comfy, clean and no bugs which is important. Room was clean and nicely decorated. We spent most of our day out and about. Close proximity to alot. Service was good and efficient. The only thing is I don't feel the room was worth the amount I spent. Basically paid for proximity and convenience.... more

We booked the hotel for its location on the map, it has a subway station semi close (5 min walk) and the sightseeing tours stop relatively closeby. We booked a room with 2 queens but on arrival we were offered a king bed by the hotel which was a great service. The room came with a free wired internet connection... more

Our trip - My 12 year old son and me. One night...Sunday into Monday. We were to spend Monday touring the Capitol and doing the Smithsonian museums. Finding the hotel - Very easy. 12th NW & K. If you can count and know the English alphabet, you can find this hotel with no problem. Parking - We pulled into D.C.... more

Thank you for your kind words and feedback you shared regarding your stay at the Sheraton Four Points. The detail you include in your review certainly assists me in knowing what services may need increased focus to ensure our guest's have wonderful visits with us. I am sorry for the frustration regarding the televisions. While the "overhaul" is accurate, it...

The property could certainly stand some updating. The room was decently sized and the king sized bed was comfortable, but the room felt a little threadbare and worn. It is located about 3 blocks from metro center and is in an area where you feel safe walking around. The lobby area is nice, and the hotel includes complimentary high speed... more

I have to tell you, I was pleasantly surprised with my stay at this hotel. It certainly isn't your "typical" Four Points, I don't think. The staff was friendly and very diverse, which I like to see...they struck me as genuinely welcoming, which can be rare nowadays. The rooms were comfortable and it looked like while I was there they... more

I stayed here Labor Day weekend. When we returned from dinner Friday night, the electric was off. Evidently there was an ongoing power outage in the area which had also interrupted service earlier that week. The front desk provided us with glow sticks. Yes, glow sticks. The lobby and hallway lights and one elevator were powered by a generator. We... more

Good afternoon and thank you for taking the time to communicate your dissatisfaction with the Four Points team during the power outage. While I am sure you spoke with the on site management during the unscheduled Washington DC power outage, please accept my personal and sincere apology for the inconvenience it caused. I would certainly feel frustrated with a power...

A big negative for this hotel was the noisy air conditioner unit. I cranked the room down to about 63 degrees and then turned it off, as my only hope at sleeping. The first night it took me until 3 am to work out that you have to turn it off BOTH at the wall thermostat and on the A/C... more

I have stayed at this hotel numerous times over the past few years. It is generally a dependable choice, and you can sometimes find OK to very good rates in a city that can be very expensive downtown. Right on K Street, so close to restaurants, Metro. Free Internet and (one) bottled water a night. Some staff are very helpful,... more
