I was very disappointed when we arrived at K St Four Points we were told we were not booked into a room, even though we had received two emails from the Manager welcoming us & looking forward to us staying with them. This was extremely bad. Thankfully, the Reception Manager, Deborah, was most helpful, and managed to get us a... More

As this guest is very aware, their reservation was cancelled due to lack of available credit on their credit card. I am pleased that our manager was able to assist them in finding a room for the first night despite the city being very full due to a large convention. And that we provided a room back at our hotel... More

This hotel was chosen by the non-profit for visiting Board members, so I assume the price was as good as was available in the area. The lobby and room were standard big-city but clean and not crowded. The bed was really comfortable. The toiletries were marginal. Still, I've no complaints and would happy return. More

Like any hotel in DC, this one is expensive. Overall I felt the quality and value I thought I was paying for was lacking: Positives: -good location on K & 12th -about a 15-20 minute walk to the Mall -easy to find -fast check-in & check-out -good concierge service (helped me book airport shuttle to Dulles $32 one-way) Negatives -room... Thank you for your visit. I am happy you found our location ideal and staff so helpful. I am sorry you were disturbed by noise in the plumbing system. This problem had been noted for the past week and was being investigated and the cause was finally determined to be faulty pressure values in the system creating a knocking noise.... More

I have stayed in 2 of your hotels- one in Chicago and one on K street.. Yes the ha;ls are a little loud but after the experience I had at the Gaylord National last week I will take loud walls. The beds are comfortable and the Pillows are to die for.. I have my best sleep away in your hotels-... More

Having paid 200+ per night for this hotel, I was expecting a lot more. The walls are thin and I could hear my neighbors and people talking in the hallway, as well as doors slamming late into the night. The bed and pillows were extremely uncomfortable. The restaurant is mediocre and uninviting. The table in the hotel room was not... More

Thank you for sharing your comments. I am sorry you did not find our beds and pillows comfortable - The Four Points bedding package has usually received many favorable comments on its comfort. As an older building, this gives us benefit of both our excellent location and concrete construction - sound proofing between rooms is very solid - the noise... More

I stayed here in late April 2012 on business. I found the hotel expensive for the value. My room was small, but I did get a free bottle of water and internet service. The hotel needs a little upkeep as evident by the numerous hallway carpet, stairway and bed cover stains. In addition and after three (3) visits by maintenance,... More

Thank you for sharing your comments. As you noted, our excellent downtown location in an older building is offset by our smaller room size. Hotel rates in Washington are based on season and demand and April and May are peak months in Washington and hotel rates reflect this. You will find lower rates at other times of the year. We... We stayed for 3 nights. 1 adult and an 11 year old on a D.C. trip. This hotel could not have been more convenient or accomodating. Barbara at the front desk is a gem. When I planned this trip at the last minute I called several hotels. Barbara answered the phone and she is the reason I selected this hotel.... More

This is a very nice hotel, well maintained and cared for and clean, very friendly staff, and easy check-in. I enjoy it most for its location, and the amenities that four points offer. Skip the hotel restaurant, your in a great location for many other choices, the service is well below standards here, and until i see consistent good reviews... More

Our family of 4 (2 adults, 7-year old girl, 3-year old boy) stayed here for a quick get away during the April school break. The hotel staff was wonderful. So welcoming, thoughtful, and kind. When we arrived, the doorman gave our son some crayons and coloring sheets. Front desk staff, valets, and waiters were also great! The hotel was located... More

Like many others we found the staff at Four Points to be very gracious and welcoming. Check in was a breeze and we were able to have a room at 10:30 in the morning.
