Stayed for 5 nights. Small lobby but clean and with wifi. Rooms are ok, a little old but comfortable. Heavenly bed was heavenly indeed. I had a room on the 2nd floor that faced the lobby. While it was quiet and no noise from the lobby or bar, I had to keep the curtains drawn all day and night as... More

This is a solid choice especially if you can get it at a discount. It is well located a couple of blocks from a Metro and a longer but possible walk all the way to the Mall, Spy Museum, or The White House. Not a seedy area at night. The rooms were very clean and well equipped. The lobby is... More

One of the best hotels I've been to. While not dirt-cheap, it was inexpensive enough to fit a modest budget. Got a 3rd floor room facing M street, and it was very quiet. The breakfast was included, and was good for the price: scramble, potatoes, bacon, porridge, pastries and fruits. Downsides: no free internet. 4G reception was solid enough to... More

The Westin is slightly dated but the hotel was clean and the staff and services were excellent. The room was very nice. The location is very close to fantastic restaurants and most desired visit locations. If you want historic or swanky this is not the hotel for you but if that does nit matter then this is a solid choice.... More

The hotel overall is accommodating, check in was very fast and the front guy was very nice and welcoming. The room is simple. I really like that it is very quiet. We were put into the top floor which was the starwoods preferred guest floor. No refrigerator in the room, the shower heads are very nice, comfortable bed, nice restaurant... More

Booking proved to be quite easy, and it was nice when an email popped in a couple of days before to welcome me. The room itself seemed nice enough, but when we looked for the fridge we couldn't find one. On our way out for the day I mentioned this to the concierge who said that fridges were only available... OK, so it's definitely in need of a full gutting - just because it's a 20+ year old facility - but that doesn't make it substandard. Enough with the push for everything being brand new. My room was perfectly functional, on the 11th floor facing M Street. No noise from the outside. The walls were a little thin between rooms,... More

Nothing spectacular, nothing terrible. No outstanding employees or services, except for each of the concierge providers I encountered. In fact, restaurants and bars close early, even on the weekends. Location is good for tourist attractions and transportation options. Rooms are standard, but lack in cleaning details and more up to date amenities. My room, and it looked like many were... More

The location is good, walking distance to the Whitehouse. Surround by lots of restaurants, and shops, there is also a drug store just at the corner. Everything is good except at night, you can hear everything the next door neighbour is doing, literlaly everythging. Will not recommend any family with kids to stay there.

Stayed for 3 nights and found the hotel to be located a nice walking distance to the White House, mall and subway. However, some may think it is too far if you don't enjoy walking. The Staff was very helpful and friendly. Rooms were clean but on the small side. Lobby was modern. There are no fridges, microwaves, etc. and... More
