I stayed at the Westin for almost 3 weeks. I found the staff to be very helpful and friendly, check in and out was a breeze and they handled my extended stay without fuss. Rooms are great, the giant tv good for sport. I would definitely recommend this hotel. The location to good restaurants on 1400 is fantastic. Well done.

A lot of reviews prior to March 2014 refer to the poor general condition of the property. I think all of those can be ignored now. The lobby, restaurant, gym and rooms are all done and it feels like a brand new hotel. I particularly like the huge TV in the room with a good selection of HD channels. A... More

We stayed here for just one night and it was an enjoyable stay. The renovations are very nice, the bathroom was spacious and clean and we LOVED the shower head! The staff was fantastic from the moment we walked in the door until we left the next morning. We were able to check in early which was nice. The only... More

Check in was ok, they asked me if I asked for a disabled room and I did not at bookingI I really did not want a disabled room, in case it was needed by any disabled person and thats the only reason, so she told me it would be a 15,00 charge to change rooms, I declined and took the... More

Stayed here one day, chose the hotel because it looked as if had a well equipped gym, and it does. New machines, above average number of machines, nice gym room with good air. More than what I'm used to. Open 24/7. Room is very new, clean, excellent. Close to Starbucks.

Stayed 2 nights here with my parents on vacation. Not a bad location, fairly easy walk to the White House and other points of interest downtown. The check-in was fairly easy and we did not have breakfast included, so we didn't make use of any facilities. The concierge was helpful with booking the historic trolley bus tour for us. The... More

Our breakfast waitress, Alem, was the best. She helped to provide great meals for our son who has gluten and dairy restrictions. The hotel was close to the White House and other landmarks. Our first room had a terrible odor but we were moved to another room which was fine. No free Internet which is ridiculous in this day and... More

My husband and I just spent 4 nights at the Westin and it ended up as one of our favorite trips together. The workout facility is the best we have ever seen in a hotel. State of the art cardio equipment as well as plenty of machines and free weights. Spacious area. One morning we went for a run and... More

I stayed here with my family for 3 days. Our room on the ninth floor faced inwards towards the lobby, but was very quiet and got ample lighting. The room itself was extremely clean and the beds were very comfortable. The mirror and lighting in the bathroom was kind of weird (like almost HD in an unflattering way) Both of... More

We stayed here recently for a weekend away in DC. Valet very expensive, just parked in a lot nearby instead. Booked a king bed and they tried to give me a two double bed room. Then they were rude when I tried to get them to give me the room I had booked! The lobby and atrium are pretty but... More
