The Westin Washington DC City Center was a disappointment on every level. I stayed here on a business trip and the issues started with Wi-Fi not working in the rooms (for 3-4 days this issue could not be resolved - so, it was not just bad luck). The breakfast was overpriced for what they offered and the food for lunch... More

I have stayed at the Westin Washington DC City Center many times. I absolutely love the place. I actually recommend the hotel to anyone I know who is visiting Washington DC. My favorite aspect of the hotel is its customer service. I particular love the restaurant/bar at the hotel known as Fringetree. Barry, the bartender at Fringetree, does an amazing... More

This hotel was perfectly located a little out of the major tourist areas. We had a nice roomy room that allowed our friends to visit for night caps each night. The bed was comfortable and the air conditioning worked perfectly. The windows looked out onto the internal lobby: the downside, it could use a little more soundproofing. The upside: our... More

I just checked out of this hotel and I am actually stunned. I was here on business with a client and arrived late last evening. Synposis: -Thermostat was broken - fan ran all night long -Cordless phone was broken (no biggie) -Took me an hour and four phone calls to the front desk with two to technical support to get... More

I stayed here for 3 nights with my wife and son in early July. The location is excellent just a 10 mins walk to the White House. The check in was smooth and it was easy to find taxis any time of the day. The service standards were however quite poor. The Wi-Fi did not work on one full day... More

There's a reason I like SPG properties - especially Westins. This hotel is a very typical Westin. Very welcoming manager when I arrived at night. Gave me complimentary breakfast and the bar staff are super friendly - what's not to love? This will now be my "go-to" hotel in D.C.

Decent enough but definitely not one that I would stay a second time if given a choice. Ticks the boxes but that's just what it is. In terms of the extra mile or additional charm, there isn't much. Staff are professional but lacks the warmth and friendliness I've experienced at other places

My husband son and I checked in about 9:30pm, and were greeted so nicely, the staff asked us about our trip in and handed my son maps of the city. They gave us bottled water and asked if there was anything else they could do before we went up to our room. Breakfast was excellent and the beds unbelievabley comfortable!... More

We have stayed in The Westin in many US cities over the years - so my expectation was high - I was so disappointed by this hotel. The hotel is not in a good location - if you are on holiday and want to see the sites - this is not the place to stay. The decor is grey and... More

I stayed here for a week long business trip in January. I was excited to be staying at a Westin, since I had a great experience at another one I stayed at a few years ago. This one was not impressive at all. I went to check in, and since one of my coworkers had initially made the reservation, they... More
