I recently stayed at the Woodley Park Guest House and what a lovely surprise it turned out to be!!!!!! During my previous visits to DC, I stayed most of the time at another B & B and decided this time to check out Woodley. I stayed two nights in a lovely room and the following night was upgraded to the... More

We were so delighted to find this gem and now are officially spoiled for any other affordable accommodations in DC. Everyone we encountered here were friendly, gracious and generous. Firstly, the physical accommodations are lovely, well appointed with all the customary perks and spotlessly clean and in great working order. The location is great and in a lovely safe feeling... I stayed three nights at the end of March. It was an incredible experience. The hospitality of the staff and owner were exceptional. The rooms were comfy, well decorated, clean and very nicely decorated. This was a slice of heaven. I met wonderful people during my stay and they went out of their way to recognize my birthday.I will defiitely... More

A beautiful building, friendly and incredibly helpful owners Courtney and Joe, comfortable bed and fantastic coffee. What more could a hotel want? They had such helpful advice, like places to eat and opening hours. The place felt so relaxed and easy going. And conversation with owners and other people staying there at breakfast, totally set me up at the beginning... More

My favorite place to stay in DC. This in in the Woodley Park neighborhood across the street from the Marriott Wardman with easy metro access. Courtney is friendly and remembers her customers. A simple health breakfast and wine hour are included. As I typically travel to DC on taxpayer dollars it is good that I can stay there at a... More

I stayed in the Woodley Park Guest House for 3 nights to attend a conference at the Marriott across the street. The location was very convenient, and much more reasonably priced than the conference hotel. As I am on a budget and am traveling solo, I opted to stay in room 135, which is at the tippy-top of the house.... More

I have totally no regrets staying at Woodley Park Guest House while attending a conference across the road from the Marriot Wardman Park Hotel. Took me less than 2 mins to walk there. Staff were great and friendly. I stayed in Room 123 which is nice. The street is relatively quiet and the guest house at night is really peaceful.... More

This place has customer service down -nearly flawless - every staff member knows your name (and apparently how to pronounce it) upon arrival and throughout your stay. They mostly make their attentions feel very genuine too - which is really hard to do. My first impression upon entering my room was ahhh - it just felt comfy and lovely. I... More

I stayed a this B&B for three nights during a week of work appointments in DC in January. This is not like staying at a hotel, but more like being with family in a beautiful and cozy home. I loved meeting the staff, who were so attentive to my every need. The last day of my stay, even though I... More

Courtney (the owner), Kelly, and staff are truly unusual. Details really count for them--such as incredibly delicious & healthy bread options for breakfast, stamps, good suggestions for restaurants, and available to help you navigate DC & surroundings. Courtney grew up in DC and stays current on art, movies, sports, etc. She's genuinely curious about the people that stay at Woodley... More
