it has great quirky accommodations. The Lennon room, for example, has Julian's guitar in it and more. There are more than a dozen secret passage ways and rooms. The food is excellent and, well, ambiance is the best in all of DC.

This is a fun, unique place to visit. You need to make a reservation. In the DuPont Circle area and easy to get to. The mansion is full of memorabilia from notable people who stayed there. It is fun to visit the different rooms with some pretty amazing decor. There are also some 60 (maybe more) hidden doors which are... More

We visited here mainly to walk through the mansion and take in various rooms and interesting décor. Some rooms were filled with rock-n-roll memorabilia that was of much interesting. They do offer brunch which is reportedly very good, but we did not experience. Definitely worth a visit - leave yourself a couple of hours to fully explore and appreciate the... More

We did the Sunday brunch. The food was good. The wait staff was friendly. After brunch we walked around searching for secret doors...we found 8. There was so much to look at. It was a fun way to spend a few hours. We will be back.

A stay at 'The Mansion' is unique and magical. Each room offers it's own magic and a stay here will be remembered for a long time. The first time I stayed here I had to walk through a number of mirrors to find my room. Hidden stairways and corridors give you not only a sense of privacy, but the experience... More

I came there with an open mind The Valentines dinner was advertised for $160 with tax for two. The food was good but they gave you such small portions. Although my steak was a fair size and cooked perfectly. Service was average. Plates were not cleared promptly and drinks refills had to be asked for. Employees seemed friendly but stiff.... More

We hosted our company holiday party at this hotel and the guests were thrilled. For the first 45 minutes, guests went on a self-directed tour of the mansion and got to look for hidden doorways and random treasures throughout the house. After that, guests enjoyed cocktails and then dinner was served - an elaborate buffet presented beautifully. The staff did... More

I did not stay at the hotel, but ate in the restaurant. Eclectic is an understatement for the decor at The Mansion on O Street. Excellent is an understatement for the food. The occasion was a large group dinner. While the salad was good but uninspiring, each course got better: the entrees were great and the deserts heavenly. Shrimp scampi... More

A waiter at J Paul's in Georgetown was so helpful by recommending we visit the O Street Mansion. Had he not - we would never have found it. Secret doorways (we found 6 and 2 others were opened and identified - there are many more). Eclectic goodies all for sale - art, clothing, furniture. If you love jumble sales, items... More

We took our 2 granddaughters to the Mansion for lunch/tour as a high-school graduation present. They were delighted and we had a wonderful experience. We arrived at Noon and were seated immediately for lunch. Our car was VIP parked for us, which was especially nice. Our lunch was exceptional, and of course the atmosphere was thrilling. There is so much... More
