After a rather unfortunate incident in the lounge one evening, the hotel's F&B manager DeWayne responded with sincere and rapid apologies. The front desk and concierge also made a point to acknowledge the problem and offer redress. Other staff we met had been briefed about the situation and voluntarily came up to us to offer their apologies. We were impressed... More

This past weekend I stayed at the St. Regis in DC. As I had my wife with me, Felix Schaller made sure I had a beautiful room and even sent up some chocolates for her. It was like coming home. It is a great property and everyone is so friendly. From Amnon Jair Wessely the concierge to all the people... More

From the first time I have stayed in this spectacular property in 2009 to my last visit just last month this was and still is one of the best hotels I have visited. I have to say that I like the renovation as the hotel never lost its charm but to be honest I liked more the old fashione charm... More

As my trip approached, I made multiple attempts to contact Felix Schaller. Felix was said to be the Manager by one of the reservations staff that could not resolve an issue I was having. See, as I am a Gold Traveler with Marriott, and a Diamond Traveler with Hilton, I was in the middle of a challenge to become Platinum... More

Loved the St. Regis in Washington DC. Exactly what you come to expect from the name St. Regis. The location was great and the service was impeccable. The room was very nice with a super comfortable bed. My son and I had a fabulous trip to DC made all the more better by the St. Regis.

Worth the rate - gorgeously traditional decor in the guest rooms and throughout the hotel. The one markdown would be the tubs in the guest rooms; you literally need a stepping stool (which they graciously provide) to get in. If someone advanced in age or somewhat challenged in movement is part of your group, please don't subject them to this.... More

Stayed recently for 3 nights. Staff were friendly and efficient. However rooms are pretty small although reasonably comfortable. Overall it felt a bit dated and definitely was not what I had expected from a St Regis. Will try somewhere else next time.

From start to finish this property delivered. Vidya was very helpful when I called to clarify my rate prior to arrival. Nelson provided excellent service throughout my stay. Breakfast in Decanter was delicious and the service was superb and polished. Dwayne (sp?) explained the sabering ceremony and cleanly took the top off the bottle. The champagne wasn't bad, either. Finally,... More
