After visiting many OTHER overcrowded campgrounds with scary bathrooms, this is now the only campground I consider as a pleasurable camping experience. Our family returns here every year, making the long drive from Long Island, to be greeted by the on-site owners, Ann and Ed, who maintain this park like campground as a safe, family oriented experience. They are the... More

I stayed there for the Bennington Triumph Bash (May 30th-June 1st) and had a great time and stay at the campground. The campground and facilities were excellent and very clean. The staff was wonderful, helpful, and extremely nice, as well as friendly. I had a wonderful stay there, and it is affordably priced. I hope to go again next year!!!!

We chose this campground based on reviews from this site when other places recommended to us were already booked. Such a find nestled in the mountains. We loved the fact that despite the enormous amount of land, there was only 44 camp sites. There are two ponds and a lake, all with canoes/boats that can be borrowed. Plenty of scenic... More

Wow - where to begin? Family run for 53 years! It felt like coming home. Everything is perfect: views, level sites, close to everything, (yet far enough into the woods you feel deliciously isolated), the best bathrooms I've ever seen in any camp grounds by far, and so much more! If you're lucky enough to be near here when they... More

A nice spot, very well run by very friendly people. About 40 campsites, many overlooking a small lake or nestled into the woods. Pull-through sites are in the open, nothing special, but nice and level with water and electricity - just what my wife and I wanted for overnight stopovers as we traveled to points north. Hostel / lodge has... More

My family and I love coming to this campground and have been for the past 6 years. Anne is super nice and the camp grounds are in pristine shape. The campground is super quiet and filled with friendly people. We often visit Benington VT during the day which is super close. I highly recommend this campground.

My husband and I stayed two nights in our tent, including one night when the weather was terrible (hard rain and blustery winds). The owners, Ann and Ed, were very friendly and almost parental in their interest and caring attitude. Because of the awful weather, they suggested we sleep in their lodge, an offer I took up at 2 am... More

We came for one night and stayed for 11!! The setting is idyllic, kids loved canoeing, rowing and swimming on the two lakes on site. The owners, Ann, Ed and Chris (and Molly the dog) are wonderful- so helpful and friendly. Great shower and washing facilities and such a beautiful setting. Mark and Chris who run the local store are... More

My boyfriend and I spent two nights at this campsite. There were many great sites available when we got there (it's first come, first serve) and we ended up choosing one very close to a beautiful pond. The lodgekeepers were very friendly and accommodating, and the shower/wash facilities were free and clean. Also there was a game room with air... More

This hostel is located on 120 acres near Bennington, VT and well located to visit So. Vermont and Williamstown, MA regions. The owners live on site. Hostelers have a private well supplied kitchen (bring all your own food). The women's dorm has 4 single beds (no bunks). Private rooms are available. The facility was very clean and well maintained.
