This colorful hotel is oozing with Cuban charm. The rooms are comfortable and the service is great. There are two pools and a magnificent beach. Restaurant serves an impressive breakfast buffet and beautiful dinners. While you don't want to drink the water in that part of the world, you will want to drink in the charm.

We wanted to book a hotel right in the center of Trinidad but we had no chance to get 3 rooms in a nice hotel, so we decided to book on at the Peninsula Ancon which is 15 miniutes drive away from Trinidad. The Brisas Trinidad del Mar is acutally the "best" hotel at the Peninsula and is rated as... More

We were booked into this hotel by Havanatour, who inexcusably changed our itinerary from the town center Iberostar Grand Hotel without telling us - very sneaky but I'm sure it boosted their profits. The hotel is very tatty, with peeling paint and missing fixtures - it really needs a major refit. It is a few kilometres out of town so... More

Average on all counts. Rooms are old fashioned (what else could you expect in Cuba?), breakfast with quite limited choice, personnel not most polite. Location is on the Ancon peninsula, somewhat far from town, but close to the beach, which may be an advantage for those who plan a summer vacation of a few days here to enjoy swimming, etc,... More

In Cuba one relaxes one's standards, or you will usually be disappointed, thereby missing out on a wonderous adventure. As a part of a tour group, I had to accept a ground floor, dark and tired room with view of walkway... but it was a lot nicer than the majority of living quarters of the residents of Trinidad, and just... It is a beautiful hotel and pleace. It is perfect to rest but the attention is bad. If you pay for All inclusive and they have ice cream for example Near to the swimming pool it was empty! Only empty cones!!!Many cuban people told me that, it is bad but I didn't believe them. The buffet is bad too, you... More

Tour around Trinidad, Cuba, where we visit the picturesque square Plaza Mayor. Around the square there are several museums, and we visit Museo Romantica, where there are jewels, porcelain, paintings and sculptures that belonged to the Spanish nobility. The square is the city's cathedral, Iglesia Parroquial de la Santisima Trinidad, which is one of the largest churches in Cuba. We... More

We were very dubious after reading other reviews, but first impressions were not too bad. Bright and open, good beach, plenty of bars, all inclusive - what could possibly go wrong? The room (sea view 2nd floor) was big, shabby, but clean with working air con. The staff were excellent - cheerful and helpful. We never felt pressured to tip,... More

Looks like there are two camps when it comes to this Hotel. Yes I belong to the "less than brilliant" camp. In fairness I should say I had to stay here for 2 nights due to a booking issue with another Hotel but objectively the standard of this Hotel is quite poor. The rooms are tired and a bit shabby,... All inclusive, but horrible food. The beach is beautiful but the hotel is tacky and the service is horrible, maybe due to state administration. The "a la carte restaurants" are a little better and the rooms are just adequate.
