I am a bit surprised about all that very bad comments here, which I also read before I went there, but in the end was positively surprised. The hotel is not that bad at all - for Cuba :-) really everybody who is going to Cuba needs to change his expectations about hotels there. True that most of the time... More

This hotel has to be shut down for a while for refurbishment and change of staff including the management. The 4 stars are Cuban for stars and would be in Europe only 2 stars. The hotel is a run down place. Just check my photos. You will get everyday dirty towels and bed sheets. The romm is spacious, but the... More

Rooms are so old, smelly and full of bugs. Happy that we had a lizard inside. Breakfast and overall food is full of insects and flies lingering around. Skipped it. No service on the beach and drinks are horror, mojito with canned lime juice...

Really bad. Terrible room, with humidity sweating out the walls and bad air conditioning. All inclusive but 8 Oz plastic glasses, bad coffee, bad food (buffet style) with a swarm of flies included. Mosquitoes infested in common areas. The facilities are about 30 years old and nothing done since. Nice beach, the sand is not so fine, but the rest... More

This was our fifth visit to the Brisas Trinidad del Mar and once again we were fortunate to receive our old lagoon/mountain view room which was kept spotless by our two maids – Marbelis and Belkys. Our linens were spotless, our towels changed regularly, our floor washed daily. A firm king-size bed. Ample bottled water, shampoo and toilet paper. Lots... More

Reminded me of La Quinta Resort in La Quinta CA - very nice architecture, lovely tile, great a/c, beach hotel. Two cautions - Food left much to be desired (watch out for the flies) and the mosquitoes were plentiful and painful. If you are someone mosquitoes love, take very strong repellent. Some of us brought herbal repellent and the mosquitoes... More

We stayed here for two nights in May 2015 as part of a tour of Cuba. After a busy schedule, we welcomed the chance to relax here. Our room was on the ground floor and we encountered a large crab just outside on our first evening. There were also lots of very small crab-like insects on the paths around the... More

The hotel located on a narrow strip of land between the ocean and the lagoon. There are several buildings on a large area, so sometimes you have to walk far to your room. Some of the buildings are new, others old. I stayed for one night in complex number 8 that was a two story new building, without elevator and... More
