I stayed 3 nights in this beautiful Casa. A very nice welcome of the lady. I got a perfect room and bathroom. The deliciousand rich breakfast was served in the garden, where also was a nice place to read at night. The casa is very close to the Plaza Mayor with nice restaurants and the Viazul busstation. I liked the... More

Stayed here with my girlfriend in November. It is located right beside the Viazul bus station and Alejandro and his mum speak good English. Our room was so beautiful with really high ceilings and it was seperate from the main house. There was also two lovely rocking chairs out front which we relaxed on at night with a glass of... More

Casa Meyer was a great place to stay and helped to make Trinidad the highlight of our trip. Our guestroom was separate from the main house with direct access onto the garden, giving us a bit of added privacy. At the same time, the family and pets were often in the garden, which provided lots of opportunity to say hello.... More

We really loved this Casa! As others reviewers have said, Alejandro and Mercedes made us feel incredibly welcome but also let us get on and didn't hover or make us feel uncomfortable. Breakfast was gorgeous - sitting on the verandah, watching the morning haze rise, the hummingbirds flitting around and enjoying the silence of the day. Cliched indeed, but the... More

We booked this place after reading reviews on trip advisor, excellent location – 5min walk from the central square in Trinidad. The host Alejandro and his family were very welcoming and had excellent English. They helped us organize our day trips including horseback riding to the water falls and a day trip to the beach. The food was excellent, delicious... More

The house itself is like a museum and I loved my delicious fresh fruit breakfast while watching the lizards and hummingbirds in the garden. The room was extremely clean, spacious and charming. Secure, close to everything and Mercedes can offer some excellent tips e.g. Going diving wilt visiting dive centers in Playa Ancon. A truly wonderful stay. I can't wait... More

This is a beautiful place to stay in Trinidad. Mercedes, Alejandro and Magdelena were wonderful, warm and helpful hosts; sharing a lot of information about Trinidad, preparing amazing breakfasts and even surprising us with a special birthday cake on our daughter's 21st birthday! It was beautiful to spend the mornings in the interior garden, full of bright tropical flowers and... More

The place is very nice and very antique. Sometimes there are even tourists visiting the place for its interiors. What we didn't like was the attitude of the owners since it was so different from the places we'd been to before. We were used to a warmly welcome and some interest in our trip and motives but here we were... More

My husband and I spent 2 nights at Casa Meyer and it was a great stay. The room was clean and spacious. The bed was comfortable. The food was excellent. It was great value for money. The Casa is located in the town centre which is very convenient. All the attractions were in walking distance. It is also just a... More

Alejandro was a great host for our party of 5 who stayed for 2 nights in late November. They recommended some great restaurants and had a great time exploring the historic town. Both rooms had air conditioning which was much appreciated due to the heat at this time of the year! Alejandro also had a quick lesson on poaching eggs... More
